Contractor finished leveling the spot for our building on Friday, so the builder started this morning. Amish dude. Just looked out the window and he brought his kid along. Kid can't be more than 8 years old. Very classic Amish attire.

He does have a Bobcat that he pulled in with a conversion van. But they are out there in the classic hats, suspenders, etc. I think the kid even has a suit on.

does the $2k include the final album as well as the work they are doing that day?

having helped my dad do a wedding when I was younger (helping load film into the camera, moving lights around, etc) it isn't an easy task to do while trying to be as inconspicuous as possible.

but I have also been to weddings where the photographer is basically dictating "ok, we need to do this part of the wedding now" because no one else was taking charge.

I honestly have no clue. I haven’t looked too much into it. Whether it includes all of that or not, anyone is going to have a hard time convincing me it’s worth anything close to that. Again, good for the photographer if they can get away with charging that.

We got some really good wedding photos and I'm happy we have them. But our formal ones are all shit at this point because one sibling on each side (shit....I think that makes 6 divorces from weddings I've been to) is now divorced and you can't hang a picture of your family with former members of the family included up in your house.
