It's just another Manic Monday

We run into this issue with our combi ovens a lot. The damn things cost 20k but over their life repairs are daunting. It's almost cheaper to just buy a new one once the warranty expires.
When I was in the restaurant business many moons ago, I remember the fryers, especially the chicken broaster, needing pretty regular repairs....maybe once every few months. The ovens were gas, and indestructible. Ice cream machines were cleaned by hand at least once a week and never needed maintenance that I recall.

I saw a Doc that said the company that makes the machines creates 25% of their revenue via service class to fix the machines. This company also supplies machines to other restaurants that don't have this problem. Implication is McDonald's corporate doesn't give AF.

Just saw that recently myself. They purposely make machines break down to get money.. But a corporation like Mcdonalds doesn't give a flying burger about it. Until people stop actually going to Mcdonalds then the machines will keep on being down

why would planned obsolesce about business machinery have anything to do with the consumer going there?

@kobesgame what kind of percentage can I see if I send a referral your way?

Unethical to pay for referrals. Sorry....I have to keep all of this case to myself. Rules are rules.

sorry, but my friend mel has found different representation already.

I wonder if it'll be Bill or Melinda that gets to keep all my personal information in the divorce.

I just spent 1 hour and 12 minutes talking a client off a proverbial ledge. JFC....call your therapist. She pulled the ol' "It's an emergency" bullshit. I need to stop falling for that bullshit. There was absolutely no emergency.

fuckin a, PS+ hit me up with an auto-renewal. fucking hate when companies auto put you in them. granted i also don't know how other places offer codes out there that are 1/2 off.

Would've likely been cheaper to call an actual therapist

they tend to get all up tight when you just barge in on them.

this is my home, you don't have an appointment, you're not even one of my clients, etc...

I don't know what hourly rate her therapist charges, but it cost her $412.50 to talk to me. I don't even feel good about billing it.
