The Big 10 denied Nebraska's bid to play UTC this weekend in place of Wisky.

Good morning good people. At least the rain appears to have stopped. Not as cold as earlier in the week.

Another football weekend is upon us. A decent NFL game tonight, but college is nothing. Ohio State and Penn State is the big one for me this weekend. I prefer the 11AM games, but this one is at night.

I've got my favorite nurse here right now. Even the dog is used to her. She works hard.

Thought for the day: I accidentally made my coffee with Red Bull this morning, and was halfway to the grocery store, when I realize that I forget my car.

I think all that's in there now is six $11 bottles of wine.

Get back to me when you just keep a box of wine in the fridge and only buy bottled wine when you need to cook with it.

I've tried tartare a bunch of times, but I can't get on board. Same with ceviche.

I always try stuff, even if I think I don't like it. Taste buds change and even different preparations can change my opinion. I really disliked mushrooms until I was probably 35 or so, but I would always try them. I like 'em now.

I can't tell you how many people I've converted to salmon eaters. Folks that said they don't eat it because they don't like it, but allowed me to make it for them and now they do. The majority of places get shitty salmon and then cook the hell out of it.

In hindsight should've tried tuna since it's been awhile since last had it.

Last night I was working on the same client's file around 9:30pm. Called him and he said, "I'm in the bath. If that's too weird, I can call you back in about 20 minutes."

I responded, "It'd only be weird if you asked me to Facetime with you."
