it's Wednesday and Toby Keith is still dead

Weird thread.

Yeah, my shit is the same every year. We have 5 different rating elements and can either be scored a 1, 3, or 5. 4.3+ and above is the highest tier for bonuses. Guess who gets Three 5's and Two 3's every year for a 4.2 avg, with the 5's and 3's in random elements each year?

I give fuck all about the write-up I do every year.
One of my areas we joked the goal was 3.9999 because if you scored a 4.0 you'd get another .25% raise and we can't have that and any supervisor who submitted a score of 4 or higher generally got it sent back for revision

One year I said F it, scored myself all 3's because the year prior I made mistake of giving myself a couple of 4's and each 4 I gave myself I was grilled on

Why did you give yourself a 4 on attendence
"I'm never late and used 0 sick days"

Unacceptable

4 on using technology, what makes you think you're a 4

Because when anyone here has a question on using Excel or our accounting system they come to me with questions

Unacceptable

Been a month since I've been able to sleep on my left side. Dumb shoulder issue...rotator cuff pain. I keep thinking it will resolve on its own and haven't seen a doctor.

The last job at the title company was nice on the evaluations. No self crap at all. Your immediate supervisor did one & then ownership did one. 10 best and 1 worst. They did mine last as my supervisor did mostly 9s & some 10s. Ownership did all 10's. Too bad it felt like they were going out of business in title the next few years or I may have been there awhile.

I still think my favorite review was when I was told I exceeded expectations, but my expectation was to exceed expectations therefore I met expectations
Well that was unexpected.

Been there. Depending on the severity of your injury, it may or may not repair itself on its own. How did you hurt it?

I "tweaked" it at the gym doing something with free weights. Problem is, I keep tweaking it. Starts to feel better and I'll do something that aggravates it again, from reaching oddly for something a simple as the car door I'm trying to close to fending off the dog trying to jump for her toy. Even putting on a coat where my arm is behind me hurts.

I can get to where it isn't hurting at all in certain positions and there isn't any weakness. I can pick up a gallon of milk without pain, for example.

Slight possibility it’s actually a pinched nerve or a bad knot somewhere. A torn rotator cuff is no joke. Even a slight tear will send lightning shocks through you with the wrong movement.

Maybe get a massage and see if that helps.

Stop doing that. Same advice I give to someone hitting theirs elf with a hammer.

Probably good advice. Maybe find someone specializing in sport massage.

I got my end of year review and I am a little disappointed that I am only at Meets Expectations.

I should be a level up from that.
I am working on my part of that right now. All mgrs got to have their date for reviews changed. Why covid made that happen, I can't remember. I hate those things. The guy who fills out the next part sees me 10 minutes tips 3 days a week.

I just want to put better than you will ever know for every category.
