James Harden to Philly

and multiple 1st round picks to either use to trade for someone who isn't a cancer or draft another player.

The first round picks are probably the most inconsequential thing of the whole trade. They get next years pick which will likely be from 23-30. So losing that pick is not a big deal if the return is a James Harden. The other 1st round pick is 5 years from now and is a protected pick.

I personally am not a big fan of James Harden. He quit on two teams as well. However, he put up numbers. Ben Simmons is a great defender but his mid range game is so bad that he has become a liability on offense and late in games.

Bump
Harden getting called out by coaches and Joel, the team appear to have given up these last two games, and the offseason chatter about the 76ers is about to get really fun to watch for outsiders.

But yeah, giving up Seth + Andre + capital to improve this offseason was a good move for the cancer that is harden. :pound:

A stupid trade.

You guys see what's going on? Sixers will retain his cap hold which is based on the prior season. That’s to keep Bird rights 4 extensions. Harden would wait to opt in or resign for next year until team tries to move a player and get further under cap, sign a FA then extend Harden.
