JUST GIVE US A CALL

Current brand that hasn’t been to playoff since 2014? Only won the weak Pac 12 once since then. Doesn’t sound like the current success is that impressive when have zero history
Heck that doesn’t even make @OregonDucks a new blood and they want to joined blue bloods??

I am starting to think that Oregon and the 10-team Pac12 is going no where. The Big12 is your only realistic option and I think the Pac12 is fighting to keep members in along with the ACC who doesn't want to be passed up by the new Big12.

I am wondering who the Pac12 can pick up or if any addition can add value?

Two easy picks are UNLV to get Nevada and Las Vegas region and San Diego State to get back into Southern California. Both also fit in the Pac12 South to keep divisions.

However, neither adds that much value and I am not sure about their academics or how Cal/Stanford will view them.
There’s a war going on right now if sources are correct in the big 12 trying to get Utah/Colorado and the Arizona’s. Pac fighting to keep those schools, Big12 trying to poach.

Pac needs to get SDSU (obvious) Boise, unlv and try and steal a Big12 team like Texas Tech or Baylor.

Better to actually have championship than be a nobody like the little ducklings. Enjoy never winning a natty

I’ll LMAO when the day comes and the money hungry B1G decides Nebraska and their 4-8 seasons are no longer seen as worthy enough to stay in the B1G and they kick them out.

You already lost your AAU status, you pissed off the commissioner, I’m sure he’s looking for a reason to kick you out.

Hilarious if Notre dame says they’ll join if Nebraska gets booted just to be dicks

I almost liked this but helped up on Big12 comment. I don't see a Big12 team moving to Pac12. Boise State is an option but I can guarantee you that Cal-Stanford won't like them. I see San Diego State and UNLV as more likely. New Mexico could be another option.

The issue with Pac12 region is there just isn't many schools in your area. On top of that, the better Cali programs not in the Pac12 are in the same region as Cal-Stanford.

There just isn't much to grab.

I don't agree with Nebraska fans rubbing the current issues in your face but Nebraska is a blueblood and isn't going anywhere despite their struggles.

Never gonna happen. The Big XII is clearly the better option.

Maybe try the MVFC or Big Sky?

I can see why Oregon is so desperate to join the B1G, they know once Phil Knight dies, they will go back to irrelevant like have been for almost their entire history.

You haven’t seen OD’s stupid homer postings for long enough. He deserves all the shit he gets.

Hoping Oregon joins the Big 12 and we can pound them for a couple more years. The bowl game was fun. What is OU like 7-0 vs them.

Serious question: your last 6 year record?

Had Nebraska still been in the Big 12 the last 6 years, they'd still have been snatched up by the Big 10 before Oregon.

The proof in that is.......

Here's UCLA's last 6 years, and even they got the nod over Oregon.

Even if Oregon announced today, they wouldn't get to the Big 12 until 2025.

TX/OU are in their first SEC season then.

How bad must the last 6 seasons be that he still hasn’t posted nebraskas last 6 seasons and posts UCLA’s?

I think OU and Texas will join in 2024 and buy-out the season. The reason being is the SEC's new media contract starts in 2024 and it will help drive up value to the other 14 SEC Schools to have OU and Texas in the league. I think there will be incentive for the SEC to get them in that season. I could be wrong, but it is my guess right now.

Nebraska's last 6 seasons are basically UCLA's last 6 seasons and is simply a distraction.

It wasn't between Nebraska and Oregon to join the Big 10. Nebraska's already in.

USC being one of two remaining bluebloods not in the Big 10 or SEC was a lock to get in. Regardless of recent success.

When given the option of which PAC team would join USC. UCLA 'WON THE DAY'. Regardless of recent success.

Personally, I wouldn't mind Oregon joining the B1G. They have been solid in the popular sports in recent history. I just don't think they don't fit what the B1G looks for in programs.

I have noticed market is a HUGE thing for the B1G. With Rutgers, they got NYC and the Jersey area. Syracuse would be better for NYC, but Rutgers works. With Maryland, they got DC and Baltimore. I don't think Portland is quite big enough to be an appealing market, but I could be wrong.

Blue blood is another thing they look for. That was the major appeal for Nebraska. Omaha market is good too, but I think Nebraska's big appeal is them being a blue blood. Right away, the B1G split the conference by the blue bloods (Legends and Leaders). Oregon doesn't fit this either

Then third, academics. Of course, many programs with high academic standards are not very readily available though.

I don't know if Iowa would get in the B1G in recent years. Don't know if Des Moines is a big enough market and Iowa is definitely not a blue blood. Not a top tier academic school either.

I’m sure usc/ucla are saying no to us.

I’m sure Wisconsin is begging we don’t come.

Michigan can’t beat us so I’m sure they’re putting in their 2 cents to keep us out.

I envision hissy fits from the above mentioned teams about Oregon joining.
so youre sayin the conference would prefer
Oregon State?

How’s uncle Phil’s relationship with Amazon?

Amazon is wanting to get into CFB anyway and they are going to have to pony up to get in the big boy pool anyway so maybe the Ducks should go to the Big12 and then get Phil to negotiate some kind of a deal with Amazon and Nike for Oregon’s 3rd tier rights. A Duckhorn network if you will..

And USC UCLA are are going to get obscene amounts of money to build them selves back. Uncle Phyllis @OregonDucks won’t live forever just ask Okie St. how things change.
