I like Smart, but seriously think that he's his won worst enemy, and I'm not saying that one call should get your fired, but that fake punt against us when we were in a normal defense and everyone and their mother noticed Justin Fields sitting back there where he usually shouldn't be, was just the most idiotic decision I think I've ever seen.
This that moment, I just don't know how any UGA fans can have trust in Kirby. Two of the three best QB's in the country are from the State of GA, yet you didn't get one (Lawrence), and chose Fromm over the other (Fields), and still at this moment, I would say the QB is clearly UGA's biggest weakness.
Now, before people start saying that Fromm was good, yes, he was, but he got just a little worse year after year and yet Kirby didn't have the balls to play the #1 recruit in the Nation at QB at his normal position (and not fake punt runner or maybe passer, whatever the hell that play was).
When Kirby loses, he accepts it and tries to move on, which sounds like a plan. But what separates Saban from coaches like Kirby, is when we are losing, Saban is doing everything in his damn power to change momentum, and think outside the box to at least get ourselves a fighting shot at winning. He pulled the SEC PoY in the Natty for a Freshman because we needed something different, needed a spark, and Saban said 'Fuck it, we may lose, but we are going to try something different', and I don't think Kirby has that kind of mentality and so I can understand why UGA fans like
@Illustrious Potentate are so damn tired of Kirby already.
