It’s funny how people believe accountability is soft. Kirby holds his players to higher standard, than he does himself. It’s like you. You run your mouth on the internet, because you know there are no consequences

Isn't that what the initial argument was? He just shoved whomever was in his way because he wanted to get to his DC? So now the story is "he didn't mean to shove anyone, but if he did, it's no big deal because he didn't realize he wasn't not un-shoving anybody"

I run my mouth IRL too and there’s no consequences either.

It’s a soft take. A coach was laser focused on his dc and pushed someone out of his way not realizing who it was, and you’re more upset than the “victim”.

You’re being a major crybaby here

I just hate the hypocrisy. Here is a coach that has been bitching about players not playing with discipline and committing dumb fouls, but when he does the exact same thing he wants to be forgiven because he lost his cool. Don’t try to set a standard you can not uphold

He didn’t want to be forgiven, he was forgiven because it was nothing. You’re like a white guy getting upset about something you think POC should be upset about, but aren’t. If you’re more upset than the “victim”, it’s a bad look

My stance was never that he was out of control, so he couldn't be held accountable. My stance is that all coaches are out of control most of their games, or at least in part of the games. I have no problem with my coach chewing the DC's ass.

If you think a reprimand is holding him "accountable," I'm laughing. No one cares. Anyone with a brain saw what happened and knew there was no intent. Sankey couldn't care less, but had to say something because it got picked up by social media.

The push was intentional, obviously. Who he pushed was unintentional and that is what matters. Think for a minute. If that was another of his coaches, or even a player, no one would care. It's just because of the happenstance that the other team's player got pushed out of bounds and happened to come by the coach at the exact time he was going to chew the DC's ass that we are even having this discussion.
