Movie Kraven the Hunter (2024)

Personally, I think it's counterproductive and indicates desperation and a lack of faith in the movie to post this much of it to try to get people to go to the theater to watch it, but Sony has posted the first 8 minutes for viewing:

This is far from a new tactic.

Given the delays for the movie, its likely its not very good(but hopefully entertaining with the R rating) but this isn't a reason why

I like the main actor

Not hearing great reviews from sources I trust. Seems that it's mid with second half issues that make it a wait until streaming movie for me. Shame!

so, i'm 100 minutes into this with 28 left to go or so and...what the fuck? there's nothing good about this movie. it's terrible on every level, why?

This is all Sony/Marvel does nowadays: Spider-man adjacent stuff.

Also, I don't know who in these studios keeps greenlighting these villain-origin movies. For every Maleficent or Joker, there's a huge dud like Morbius or Kraven.

don't care for that guy, he tries too hard wishing he was honest trailers.

that said, my friend saw this in the theaters, he liked morbius (I did not care for it mainly due to not liking Matt Smith), and madame web, which I also liked despite the reviews. This was just nothing. You say this is sony/marvel nowadays, I came close to or may have teared up during venom III, i'm sentimental

He makes too many, but he does well when he reviews overhyped crap.

The problem is two-fold: (1) audiences are pretty much at overload, and sloppily made movies are no longer the cash cows they used to be, and (2) many / most of the good comic book plotlines have already been adapted. As a corollary, there's probably an upper limit to how many times Batman and Superman can be remade; at this point, American children probably enter kindergarten knowing the origin stories.

new superman is a philly guy, so i'm sure they righted that ship....

i will say, i don't even know if these were released to theaters, they shouldn;t have been, nbut i watched the recent watchman, which had a part 1 and not too long ago a part 2, which also set itself up for part 3, but part 1 was such a precursor to setting up part 2, after seeing part 2, feel like there is a part 3 to wrap everything up. i said nothing with that, it truly is a 3 part story how it's been laid out.
