The Post

Great cast! True story about when Nixon and the Justice Dept tried to censor the NYT and the Washington Post from writing stories about the Vietnam War based upon their obtaining classified documents.

Besides telling a great story it showed a time when newspapers in this country had a lot of power. It reminds us of how things were before the internet really watered down journalism. It’s a great story about how freedom of the press and freedom of speech are really essential to our democracy.

I give it an easy 8.5
 
Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
 
I watched El Camino again. Was ok.

Crappy schizophrenic plot. Many plot holes. Three of the four most boring a-listers. All they needed was a guest appearance by Gal Gadot to complete the grand slam. At least Chris Evans tried a bit. Fight choreography bad. That’s par for the course lately. Real real boring.

Pretty spectacular in 4K/HDR.

Quite liked it.

Great movie. Had never noticed how many more mail boxes there are when Lil Forrest meets Dorothy Harris than when his dad did.

No, you’re right. Evans, de Armas, and especially Gosling are such compelling, great actors.
And this plot was tight and engaging. You’re right.

So I get Evans and Gosling as boring a listers (is Gosling still considered that?). Who is the third? Billy Bob? Can't be him can it? Bad Santa? Slingblade? Fargo?

Well paced. Beautifully shot.
Cool themes.
Our main actress wasn’t very good, and there just needed to be ‘more.’
Still probably the third best entry in this franchise.
