Thought with the cast it would be funnier. I will watch it a second time to see if it gets better. It was worth the time, and free on Prime. Great cast (Jason Bateman, Mila Kunis, Kristen Wiig, Ben Affleck, TJ Miller) but didn't have the level of humor I expect from a Mike Judge flick.

Watched the Clone Wars movie for the first time this afternoon. It was alright. The catch is I watched the last season of Clone Wars this week, finishing the last season this morning.
It was good. But I think I would have liked it more if I hadn't just finished Rebels and the final season first.

Never heard of the movie until yesterday and it sounded interesting enough to watch. Rated R dark comedy about a former kid detective that is now grown up into this pathetic guy who is still doing the same I significant find someone's missing cat type work but he finally gets a real serious case to investigate who murdered a girl's boyfriend. Actually really well done movie. The funny parts are actually funny and the other parts are just dark enough to keep this from being some pure comedy.

finally got around to this movie. If you’re a fan of Davidson and his humor you will like it. It’s a kinda tribute movie to his dad who died as a fireman. Not much there though. Tough to build a story around a nice guy who’s a fuck up in his mid-20s... but they tried.

Very unremarkable slow and quiet movie. Plot doesn't really go anywhere, there isn't really much of a plot at all. I guess it gives an interesting view into these people that decide to do this but that interest only goes so far.

And I have to say....it wasn’t horrid. Not super duper realistic at the end, but it had some heavy moments and the female lead was fantastic playing a....complicated character.

7.5 or anything higher for me is a movie that I felt like I watched and I didn't waste my time doing so. 7.5 is the lowest level a movie meeting this threshold can obtain.

Watched the 1st two Matt Damon Bournes yesterday. #3 this afternoon.

Tonight we watched Bombshell. I was impressed overall.
First, I wasn’t fully aware that Lithgow plays Ailes. Couldn’t even recognize his face with the prosthetics, but I knew the damn voice right away. He was amazing playing that guy. Let’s face it, as much as bad people get caricatured in the modern, overtly political world....he was a bit more complex then the caricature formed because he was an asshole.
It took me a while to fully grasp it, but (my baby) Charlize had some prosthetics to look more like Megyn Kelly...and it worked.
Look....I know there is often a clap back to a pro women’s story on these issues. I get it. But, I just happen to agree with this plight.
The scene of Margot Robbies character (not an actual person, but a combination of many harassment stories) in Ailes office was frankly uncomfortable to watch. It was shot in one take, with many angles, as the Director didn’t want Robbie to have to do it more than once. Luckily it was played by two superb actors who could hit the marks.
Most of the casting of known faces was pretty damn well done. Overall, it was a good look behind the curtain. That’s not colored by a personal view of FoxNews....just the culture that Ailes drove.

One of the all time great war movies although maybe on the lower end of the all time great war movies.
