I never found Jeffrey Ross funny. Dave Attell isn't the greatest but is WAY funnier than Ross.

Dane Cook...FUCK nah, he was trying WAY too hard. Seinfeld? Meh.

I love Redd Foxx, Richard Pryor, Lenny Bruce, George Carlin, Bill Hicks, Dave Chappelle, Ron White, Patrice O'Neal, Louis CK, Doug Stanhope, David Cross...there aren't many female comedians I've found hilarious, but I love Sarah Silverman and if Aubrey Plaza were ever to do stand-up I would be laughing my ass off with a big boner.

If you actually do this, there's a signficant distinction between comedic actors and stand-up comedians. Should do separate tournaments for both.

A lot of the older Comedians had to know how to be funny without visual antics.
We used to listen to them on a cassette. You cant see what they are doing. Can only hear them.
(yes I said Cassette LOL)

I think Jerry Clower is one of the funniest people I’ve ever heard and I don’t even know what he looks like. All from my grandpa’s albums of his routines.

I think we are just looking at stand up comedians here...however a lot of the actors cut their teeth as stand up comedians
