LeBron is the GOAT

I'm not even sure Lebron has more talent than Magic. You're not going to find a more fundamentally sound basketball player than MJ, Magic, Bird and Kobe in my opinion and they were all cold-blooded killer. Lebron is a pussy-ass bitch.

People that watch the game today don’t realize how bad Larry bird was. They seem to know how good magic was but those two started the whole damn thing Are they doing a 30 for 30 on the Lakers and Celtics?

Hell, I am a huge bulls fan, but my first live game as a kid was in LA at the old Forum. 1987 or 88 can’t remember

Literally zero chance Jordan would have ever let that happen.

It was food poisoning, or the flu. Tough to determine which one. But I know there was five or six guys to deliver that pizza that night in Utah no one ate it but Jordan.

So you think the 'flu game' was really a hangover? You got any legit citations on that?
I’ve always assumed it.

The pizza guys he’s slandered have something to say as well.

It’s not like Mike Jordan isn’t a documented liar. We all watched that bullshit Last Dance mini series.

When I was in Washington DC last year I was waiting in line at a museum and a kid in his late teens is standing behind me with Lakers shit on. I struck up a conversation and told him I first saw the Lakers when I was about 6 or 7 and it was love at first sight and a total obsession with the Showtime Lakers until Magic retired. He had never seen a Showtime game even on NBA Hardwood Classics so while we're waiting I found a highlight reel of Magic on Youtube and dude starts watching it and he swore the video was sped up they played so fast back then. He was shocked how tall those teams were, too.

Basketball back then was better in every conceivable way except for transition 3's by 7-footers. :bullshit:

Bird absolutely owned MJ for the first half-decade of Jordan's career. Bird was partly responsible for creating MJ.

I can dig it. You think Bron could play 20+ years in the 80s/90s? I think the only cat that did was Stockton. That dude is highly underrated for how tough he was. He was a little white boy in a brutal league
He also carried the ball every other dribble.

John was ahead of his time.

And I assume Bron would’ve had multiple facial fractures if he’d played in the 80’s. Wouldn’t have take to Year 19 or whatever it was to get in a scrap.

For the most part early in his career yes but then that playoff game in Boston Garden happened when MJ dropped 60 some points

Give the little white boy a chance!!

Bron would’ve had to stick up for himself at some point or he would’ve gotten punked

You tube Larry Bird stories or trash talk. It’s awesome.

One of the best is when he’s trash talkin the other teams coach asking him how the hell he’s going to have a white guy guard Bird and it was an insult

Lolol

My first sports love... of ALL sports... was the Showtime Lakers. ...That was the zenith of sports entertainment right there.

...And back then, I fucking HATED Bird and the Celtics. ...and I eventually fucking HATED Jordan and the Bulls. ...but after the dust settled on that golden era of basketball, I came to truly appreciate and respect how fucking great Bird and Jordan were. Those three are the GOAT tier and (in my mind) there's a six-foot-thick titanium wall barricading anyone else from the conversation.

Bird emphatically backed up every bit of trash talking he did. The dude was on another level.

There’s the Pistons fan coming out of you!! Haha. Love it

I hated the Bad Boyz more than the rest combined but same thing, when the dust settled, nothing but respect, even for Rodman and Laimbeer. Damn, when Vinnie heated up, fuck... just give him the points.

I still hate Lambier. I would possibly punch him if I saw him. Then grab a beer haha

Dude walked right past me at Staples. I might intend to punch him and then wisely change my mind when I'm facing him.
The hell he getting at staples?

They were playing a WNBA game that ended like 2 hrs before the Lakers game I was attending. I worked downtown and a lot of times went to G-League games before Lakers games. That was probably 2008 or 2009.

Man I forgot he coached in the WNBA.
