Let's take a moment to laugh at Mike McCarthy

I can see the logic behind it considering Dak got a nice chunk of yards by catching the defense off-guard. Just an impossibly slim margin of error in that spot.

I don't care how sick Mr. SAS was. They would've rolled him in his hospital bed to the studio so he could laugh at McCarthy and the Cowboys the day after they lost.

Yep. Considering the slim margin of error, they couldn't afford to make any mistakes on that play, and instead, they made several.

The thing that really gets overlooked is that the Cowboys were lucky the 49ers did about everything they could to let the Cowboys back into the game late. If they hadn't played so poorly down the stretch then the clock stuff isn't even mentioned.

Exactly. If Jimmy G had waited one second longer before sneaking, the game would have been over. Lots of “what ifs” in that game.

Jimmy G kept the game close. The wide open pass to Aiyuk that he overthrew and the horrible interception he threw.

Really, 3 of the last 4 drives were Grop doing his best to keep Dallas in the game.

Niners were up 23-7. The Niners next 4 drives:
1--late 3rd Q--3rd and 10, Grop missed a wide open Aiyuk for a BIG gain or TD. Next drive, Dallas gets a FG. 23-10.
2.--9:48 to go--Grop throws INT from his own 44, returned to 9er 28. Next drive, Dallas gets a TD. 23-17.
3.--2:49 to go. Niner Punt from their own 41.
4.--1:21 to go. 4th and a foot. Instead of game-sealing sneak, Grop snaps the ball too early & 9ers have to punt.

Then came the last Dallas drive. It seemed like everytime the Niners were about to close the game out, Grop screwed up.

my response was towards Fordmans thought of NFCE not being a weak division because 2 teams made the playoffs LOL

I am all for laughing at McCarthy.

He lives for it. What's sad is he is spot on most of the time.

Eagles and Steelers wouldn't be in the playoffs any year before this. NFC East has been mediocre for some time.

Cowboys finally had a season where they could make a Super Bowl run and they beat themselves more than the 49ers beat them.

I could've just watched the Arizona game again.
 
Is it true that he argued after the game that the run was 13 second play so they should have had a second left? A spike takes two seconds by rule.
