Let’s Talk Uniforms....

I like what the Brewers have done. Going back to this look (and the ball in glove logo) just works for me.
Seemingly everyone holds the ball in glove logo with high regard - whether Brewers fans or not. Rightfully so; it's simple, unique, appropriate, creative and iconic.

Even before the Brewers went back to their glove logo as the primary, they'd always play Friday home games in their pin stripes and classic glove logo. ...Will always be my favorite home uni.

The new dark blue road unis with the yellow stripes have gotten overwhelmingly positive response from fans. I really like em. I kinda wish more teams would add more color to their road unis.

Some powder blues look good, like this one from the Brewers, or the Alt uni for the Rays (not the faux retro above though) and Royals.

All the others look

Yeah, the Brewers usually play only a handful of games in those powders these days... it's treated as a throwback uni and is not in their normal uni rotation. That's the way I prefer it; if it was a normal rotation jersey I wouldn't like it as much.

Perhaps,, it is the throwback angle, but I alway picture Robin Yount in powder blue.

Royals brought back their powder blues in 2008. Usually only wear them on Sundays now?

That’s exactly what I remember about the Brewers as a kid. Yount in powder blue.

The Phillies do theirs on Thursday home games only I think, which is weird as their road unis. But, this is the way to do it. Throwback alternative and sell a bunch of jersies before the nostalgia is over and we remember why they went away the first time.

Speaking of uniforms, the crap the Red Sox are gonna take the field wearing later this month is pretty much criminal.

I generally don’t like throwbacks, but I wish the Braves would keep the Hank Aaron throwbacks as their main home uniform. Those things are sharp
