Lions Favs Trade For Lamar Jackson

This is beyond hilarious. I love stat geeks

The Lions started 1-6 in 2022. This with a last place schedule. Sure they closed hard but Goff aka the prevent killer is far from who you want once you get to the playoffs.

it would be a monumental failure to roll with Goff and hope he’s the answer

Let’s see what the GM thinks and if he keeps Goff, let’s see how he does against a tougher schedule with some expectations.

I’ve got no problem with Goff and he’s in the right place for him. Coach is no BS hard nosed guy which is what Goff needs.

Obviously the moved paid off for us. Goff can Dilfer his way to the Super Bowl. He’s proven that

You already hitting the whiskey? Not making much sense here bruh

You’ve thrown about 4 pick 6s today.
That's twice you alluded to Detroit playing an easy schedule even though it ended up being right in the middle of league rankings. Taking preseason SOS rankings is a fool's errand, like looking at the preseason top 25 in CFB.

Make sure you go for the strong stuff

Weller antique like
Not gonna lie, I think that's some of the most overrated stuff on the market. I can't believe there are people that pay like $150+ for a bottle.

I'll be going higher than 107 tonight. Started out with a local pick from Middle West - 126.6 proof I think. I have a Double Oaked from High Bank that I'll go to next, I think it's around 115.

I dont blame Lamar for getting what he can get, hell I would too,and those have stick together and just say enough is enough.......
These contract are absurdly insane...........50 mill guaranteed......??

He can sit.......

Sad thing is,it eont happen...mmm
Honestly, I don't even know how good of a QB Lamar is, but he's young and an MVP winner. Earlier I acknowledged he has seemed to decline since that 2nd year MVP win. I don't think owners are colluding, but I also think they don't want to make the fully guaranteed contracts a thing. Looking down the list, there's only so many teams in a given year in the market for a QB.

Bills - Don't need one
Dolphins - Going with Tua
Patriots - Mac sucks, don't think he'd mesh with Bill.
Jets - Courting Aaron, don't think Lamar would be a worse choice, Aaron is a fucking loser. team had 30 years of HOF QB play between him and Favre and got 2 titles? maybe those QBs aren't as good as the media makes them out to be.

Bengals - Set
Ravens - They do have pro bowl Tyler Huntley as a RFA (what a joke the PB is)
Steelers - Probably gonna ride with Pickett for a year
Browns - yeesh

Jags - Set
Titans - rebuilding?
Colts - Based off the moves they made trying for QBs and a coach coming off of working with Hurts, seems like a fit.
Texans - Rebuilding drafting a QB

KC -Set
LAC - Set
Vegas - I actually don't know what they're doing, i'm very drunk right now.
Broncos - Made their bed.

Eagles - Set
Cowboys - Set
Giants - stupidly set.
Football team - Garbage (actually some decent weapons)

Vikings - set to mediocracy
Lions - See above
Packers - LOL
Bears - See above

Bucs - Window is closed
Panthers - Nope
Saints - What a bunch of losers
Falcons - Rebuilding

9ers - He's definitely better than any piece of shit QB they have on the roster.
Seahawks - Committed to Geno
LA - In a freefall. Got their Chip.
Cardinals - Have a shittier version of Lamar.

Honestly if Tennessee wasn't in a cap space pinch, I think that's where he'd make the most sense. The offense is set up well to accentuate his skillset and they have enough talent to contend. Unfortunately that Tannehill cap hit is a killer. He's going to end up right back in Baltimore for something in between what they offered and what he wants.

I think the biggest issue with Lamar is he is thinking his MVP season is magically going to make teams forget about the last 2 years. He's a good passer, not great, but if he takes a hit to the lower body that lingers even a bit, it's going to zap his effectiveness. He was incredible his MVP year, very good the year after. That's it. The Ravens are an incredibly well-coached team that can mask a lot of deficiencies, but not at $50m per year.

What is tennessee honestly? they have a great RB they ran into the ground and is probably spent. they traded away AJ brown who is a beast. I don't think they have anything going.

end of the day $50 has been set as the market for a top tier QB. the fact the ravens don't want to pay that speaks volumes and i don't blame them for that valuation.

Henry still was over 1500 yards last year. It could be exactly what Lamar needs in an offense that shows off his running ability, since he hasn't had an elite RB to throw teams off. AJ is a beast, but I'm sure they're looking at Burks to build off last year, and they're almost certain to add another high end WR early in the draft. They still have a solid defense, so it could be a great fit.

There's the problem I'm talking about. Lamar won an MVP before covid was even a thing, and he thinks the past couple years should be overlooked even though he's already showing signs of injury issues. If I'm them, I call his bluff because I don't think any other team is going to even bother with what his number is. He knows that organization and knows he can win, so I'm sure their thought is he'll grow up and realize the Browns being idiots doesn't mean he deserves more than Mahomes.

Obviously early they had a top 5 easiest schedule but then here are the ranking as of January 2023. Middle of the pack

First the prevent dumbassery.. now the schedule :L

What part of my post above can you not understand? #88 of the thread.

You Probably need to go to bed man. Try again tomorrow

It’s all fire. Some overpriced no doubt

I'll give it to you, even when you are proven dead wrong you are adept at deflecting and trying to turn it around.

You still drank? Lol you can’t possibly live like this everyday…. Post #88 is clear as day.

Hope you got some rest without me in your head

So on one hand I can see Lamar behind that Oline on the Lions with a better defense and solid running game which would be scary. If he stays healthy. But Lamar hasn’t done a lot in the playoffs

Other hand you have Goff, maybe sniff the playoffs and lose but you keep building that Dline and get a QB for the future

Question..

Seeing that Lamar hasn’t had the best WRs or even close, if you sub Lamar for J Hurts do you see a drop off in Philly?

Probably not gonna happen tho if you give Lamar all that dough

...you do understand that the two posts I brought up were well before post 88, right? You showed that you thought SOS rankings at the beginning of the year were the same as at the end of the year until Bronco called you out. Like I said, even when flatout proven wrong, you are good at deflecting.

I think it depends on whether Jackson gets hurt or not. He doesn't have a great track record for staying healthy and that is important.

I think the Eagles would see a drop for that reason alone.

The Ravens have drafted two first round WRs for Lamar and the first one demanded a trade after playing with him for 3 seasons.

Oh The scrambling QB yes. Eagles got lucky Hurts wasn’t hurt bad at the end of the season. Heck Mahomes was hurt

Them scrambling QBs not sure if feel good giving up alot of money. I’d rather draft one

Lol at Schmitty “calling me out” in post 85. You act like this everyday? It’s extremely feminine

For the 18th time look at post 88. The link provided says their schedule was 17th overall. You gonna throw pick 6s all day today too?

When ranked in early in the season they had a top 5 easiest schedule. Which is also stated in post 88.

the earlier post I stated they had a last place schedule. It is true as well.
