Imo, the biggest problem is that, no matter what is done in prison to rehabilitate them, they are released right back to the same neighborhood/situation that they were in that led to them being in prison in the first place.

So, most of them go right back to the same lifestyle.

Not sure how you fix that.

I find it odd, you don't think to mention the violent criminal that was apprehended, as he endangered several lives. Even the reporter on the broadcast knew to bring this up.
