Age was my only reservation. I can't think of a better rebuild coach than this, though if he can give us 4 years. He’s 62. He doesn’t have many more years to wait for a better job
Coached zero games at nd and was lucky to get 2nd chance at ucf.....weird take.
the three coaches before Collins went a combined 178-126. one of those guys was able to leverage his Tech tenure into the job @ Notre Dame until he fucked it up by lying on his resume about something stupid.
and that has nothing to do with my post.Coached zero games at nd and was lucky to get 2nd chance at ucf.....

The alums would never go for that. I’m telling you GT fans and alums are a different breed of nerdThey can do like Chapel Hill. Just get them in and set up no show classes.

But it's not. It's very similar to Vandy, Stanford, and NW. Academics first. Small alumni base. Bad facilities and so far no indication of any interest to improve them. You have to recruit against UGA and all the other schools that raid Georgia. It's an urban campus that is in a bad part of town. Anyone getting good is likely to transfer out. For current recruits zero history of being significant in football.GeorgIa Tech is a sleeping giant of a program. In the metro Atlanta area there are 100,000 potential recruits.
False alarm. Now we are hearing Fritz will NOT be the new HC. I wouldn't come here either, not as toxic as Auburn but getting close.
