LSU just lost a DT who opted out. I hope they can field a team by the time they get to Auburn.

Big 12 came out and said there will be a minimum of 53 players on the active roster.. anything less will be a no contest.

He'll have a squad.

Some are expecting a softer, exhibition-like season to muddle through all this SEC competition. Maybe for some! But LSUx rustled a lot of Jimmies last season and the big hits are coming. If they don't come ready to rumble in that early game at UF, it's gonna be a looong season.

Orgeron loved soaking up the good fortune last year. Let's see how he handles big problems. Will he flop like Jimbo at FSUx, or rebuild like a champ?

I don’t really buy O as an effective HC and think most of their success came from the offensive coach that left, Burrow having that incredible season and they caught lightning in a bottle (which is always a fun ride). Honestly Auburn should have beaten them and came damn close to doing that but the clock got them.

Their shitty turf beat UF. 4 sprains in one game! Losing both TEs did us in.

New coaches seem to have that burst of success with inherited talent and some new ideas. When the competition adjusts to the new tricks, that's when he'll earn the money. That's about now.

Of course, Corch could just leave now that the jig is up...pull an Urban Meyer or Jimbo and leave LSUx with shit. I wouldn't even wish that on LSU.

Where'd they come up with that number? Sounds like the powers that be were at a local bar and one side wanted 50 and the other 55. After several drinks, one of the 50 group's wife called and told him it was time to come home and they caved in and agreed to 53.
