It was a nice gesture, but the NCAA will add to it.
Quite a bit I'm thinking.

That's how Stet can can get it done ... he won't have to do everything. When the top teams play each other, you have to have elite QB play. The last 5 years proves that. The day of the game manager is likely gone when 2 elite teams play each other. But, when a team has a huge talent advantage like we will have, game manager QBs can win. We are favored in all 6 of the remaining games, with huge talent advantages. With our D, our OL and RBs, all he has to do is make sure not to turn the ball over and if Stet plays at a UTjr or AU level we will win those games. Anything can happen in Jax, of course, and see USCjr last year, so shit can happen. But, to beat Bama in Atlanta we probably need JT Daniel to be ready, or Stetson to play out of his mind. Will those wins be due to Stet or the talent around him?
I wish we could be retroactively punished for rules violations that won us a national titleWinning ain't for everyone.
You have to break a few eggs to make an omelet...
NCAA only takes notice when they can't ignore it. Like when it is done on national TV.This is interesting, because it is really about OBJ. Recruiting violations generally get swept under the rug. Ole Miss got relieved of their sanctions, because the evidence also incriminated Miss State and LSU among others. NCAA does like to make the occasional example if it is a contained situation, so they can pretend they are actually policing the sport
They do like to get involved if it something that won’t actually affect the underbelly of College football. It gives the appearance that they actually do their jobsNCAA only takes notice when they can't ignore it. Like when it is done on national TV.
Plus "these are the penalties we are fine with (and can get around) and we hope you don't impose more"I would also like to interpret the mean of self imposed penalties for those new othe board and college football. In layman’s terms it means “this is shit we are willing to admit. We are doing this so you don’t have to get off your fat ass and look at the other shit we are trying to hide from you”
Georgia will go 20/20 on 3rd down conversions. If he throws 3 INTs like Fromm did last year, who knows. But, that should be an easy win.
That's why we called him 3rd and Grantham.Georgia will go 20/20 on 3rd down conversions.
