I love Skynyrd, I'd probably put them in the top 5, but for me, it's The Allman Brothers and you can remove the American qualifier for them. To me, they're the greatest rock band ever.

And honestly, Free Bird is my least favorite Skynyrd song. It's brilliant, but God damn, it's over 40 years old, and it still gets ran into the ground today.
I loved that song the first 100 times I heard it. Now when it comes on, I sprain a hip changing the channel.
