I thought i lost mine once years ago, not sure how, ended up on floor in rug. Found it by accidentally stepping on it. I did buy a replacement ring for $40.00 prior to finding it htough

I thought I lost my ring going through security on our honeymoon. Turns out I had put it in that small fifth pocket of my jeans.

Ring rarely comes off anymore. I can still slide it on and off, but there's an impression on my finger when I do take the ring off, so the strippers aren't fooled.
 
Soccer is almost done. Tank's season finished Saturday, Ham's last game is this Friday. Lots of dance between now and Christmas for Ham, though.
 
went and saw Leon Bridges on Friday up in DC. It was a really good show. Didn't spring for seats so just went GA. Had a nice standing spot until a couple who had fantastic seats decided to leave early and give us their seats for the last 6 songs or so.

Then, after bar hopping and trying to find food, we walked past Leon walking through some back alley. Said hi, great show...and he ignored us. Jerk.

5 minutes later, I hear "is that ill? ill from southern maryland?!" It was a friend's husband. Stopped, chatted for a bit. So I am a better person than Leon Bridges as I respond when I am recognized on the street.
 
you know one thing I rarely see discussed is the worms/graboids in Tremors defy biology

a predator that large would be an ambush predator due to it's caloric needs, it wouldn't be tunneling through the desert and would need more calories than the small town of people or the desert can provide unless some kind ranchers decided to move their herd into desert. If graboid were to exist, it would operate more like a sarlac and just wait for something stupid to fall into it's mouth/range.

It really is a major plot hole that detracts from the otherwise great movie

I’m exhausted from football/cheer. Over the winter it’s down to one day for each and football is flag which is super chill. Looking forward to the break.

My "break" is basically over/coming to an end. Dodger's first basketball game is Thursday. Lil W's is missing dance today but has it Thursday. Grand had his 1st of 4 Saturdays of basketball this weekend. Also had wrestling camp after basketball & again this Saturday. Him & Buck will have open mats soon (if Buck is healthy enough). Bossy so far is going to be home with the dog & doing livestock chores until she transfers after Christmas. Then she's going to be a manager for Dodger's team. She's still rehabbing her knee injury from softball.
 
De-cluttered the basement a bit over the weekend. Got rid of some baby stuff that we're not going to need. Someone took one of the old baby gates, garbage men took the rest. Need to finish putting up the hanging bar so we have someplace to hang Ham's dance costumes.

We are probably moving Tank out of the one gymnastics program. We're looking at a different place to put him, we'll see where that goes.

One of the funniest things I have ever seen was going to Club Badabing with @SlinkyRedfoot. He actually paid for a lap dance just to inform the stripper who doubled as the owner that the sneeze guard on the buffet was not in compliance. Once that message was conveyed he left
 
Happily married and will be 30 years this December but I don’t wear a wedding or watch anymore. I’m not sure why but having things on my hands or near them bothered me and with the humidity in the south the ring was either too loose or too tight never felt right.

Wife doesn’t care so I’m ring less.

I hate going out without a wedding ring on. It's like a badge of honor to me that lets everyone know what I've been though. Kind of like a Purple Heart.
 
My MIL is obsessed with going to Hawaii and she wants me and Mrs Pnk to take her
