Is MIL going to foot the bill? Or at least pay for herself? I love my MIL very much but I am not taking her to Hawaii

She couldn't foot the bill.

I think she'd pay for herself, but I'm not entirely sure how she thinks it'll work. It'll also be a lot more expensive once we get there than she realizes and we'd end up paying most dinners/excursions because she'll expect small town wisconsin prices in Hawaii restaurants.

I do not love my MIL very much.


I have told Mrs Pnk if she wants to be a good daughter, she can take her mom and we'd pay for hotel room, but she'd need to pay for her flight and some day to day stuff, and there is no way in hell I'd go

my wife wants to go somewhere with her mom for her 75th next year...they are talking Italy. I am not sure how into this idea I am...but I am not excited about it.

I need to figure out how her BIL was able to get out of all these family trips...he is a master at it.
 
Re: ring problems

My daughter and SIL each lost their rings on the regular. They finally went and had their ring finger tattooed with the date they got married.

Back in the '90's, my widowed grandmother married a guy she was friends with primarily because he didn't have a family and was sitting on some money. She liked him well enough and wanted a companion; he wanted his money to go to someone he liked.

The guy died in 2001. My grandmother wanted to take all of her kids and grandkids (with families) on a cruise with her newly acquired money. I had recently separated from the Air Force with a newborn baby and was living in a duplex I was temporarily renting from my uncle until I could secure my own house. I politely requested cash equivalent and she obliged.

My MIL wouldn't. It'd be the trip or nothing. She'd be or will be pissed when we decline.

well, their origins are never spoken of. what awakened these giant sand beasts? and when? it seemed to target this small town, so localized (though there are many sequels that show they can adapt to many different conditions, these creatures are survivors). you talk about a caloric intake, even then I'm sure these cattle, humans, etc were pumped full of so much chemicals they never knew before they were quasi high and loving it, got too drunk and that's why the last one flew through the mountain). shit it was still a bit to cover your nose in sunscreen to show you were a dork in those days.
