Who said that? I neither said that, nor suggested it. In fact I said contractor which is a clear indication she didn't work for the university, but this is now the second time you've brought that up. Saying a 3rd won't make it more true either.

And I also clearly said I didn't have any type of details on this. I was only bringing up that assuming it had to be some hit job by her didn't exactly add up. No one can act like they know what really happened based on what is out there.

At the end of the day some of you are really hyped on this story. He's gone no matter what at this point and it doesn't matter if he did anything unlawful or not. It was at least stupid and a slap in the face to the university and that's all that's required here.

So, what's the point in going overboard on the rest of the details?

I can't stand Michigan State or Tucker. I also think he should rightfully be fired. I just think the story doesn't make sense. A guy randomly starts beating off out of nowhere during a phone call? We will see what else comes out.

It makes WAY more sense that the guy was having an extra marital affair and they were having some sort of phone sex as they lived thousands of miles away, than the story that he started masturbating out of nowhere while they were talking business.

I was just giving you the high end fees people charge -- it is wild how much people get paid to be a guest speaker. 10k is cheap for a guest speaker.

I've seen both sides of these more than once. I spent 12 years as the director of surveillance for a casino where I was involved in assisting with employee accusations.

Saw a cashier that not only took hugs from a security officer she later made harassment charges against, but sought him out with smiles and initiated contact on many occasions. Claimed she felt like she had to out of fear. It didn't pass the smell test at all and yet at the end of the day that security officer lost his job and she got some sort of settlement. This was like 18 years ago, well before the Me2 stuff. I told everyone after that chick that you are a fool if you even accept a hug or any type of physical contact offer from a female employee at work. You just can't do it.

I also saw more than one female staffer put in bad situations by managers and higher up people in positions of authority. Even a pit boss that gets to decide who has the best tables/breaks/early outs has enough power to put a female employee in a spot they feel they have to go along with things to protect their livelihood.

Seen way too many to snap judgement based off little information.

This chick could be full of shit, or a legit victim. I have no idea and really it doesn't matter. You can't be the HC of a major university and do this kind of stuff. You just can't.

I understand what you are saying -- I guess in my head, I just think, Tucker is worth $30-$40 million, with a contract that will pay him $50 million more. I can't fathom someone could be dumb enough to start masturbating without provocation on a business call, let alone a business call to a guest speaker who talks with students and student/athletes about sexual exploitation.

In the end -- he will get fired and rightfully so.

There's typically more nuance to these kinds of situations, and seems to be with this one. You keep saying you can't believe he'd just randomly start beating off in the middle of a phone conversation, no one is claiming that's likely what happened.

I mean, I assume you're human and interact with other humans at least somewhat regularly. It can get weird and isn't always clear. Seeing it through some binary lens where where him just randomly taking out his dong and stroking in the middle of a phone conversation is the only way it could have happened without her consent is a pretty simple take.

She is getting $10k as a guest speaker, not $500k or $1m. So not sure how your comment makes sense? I was just pointing out how $10k is bottom of the barrell for guest speakers at universities.
