Meltdown Monday Morning

my little league fields were way nicer than my HS one. The HS field was dirt infield and out bench was just that... a bench in the sun. I wouldn't have played infield in HS without my catcher's gear. Fuck dirt infields.
Most of the varsity fields had grass infields, JV and freshman fields seemed to largely be dirt, as I recall.

very few people like seeing drunk bums laying in the street at 2PM on a Sunday.
This.

The last couple times I've been to Nashville, I've been surprised what a shithole they're letting it turn into. Bums everywhere.

Shame. I used to go there fairly often. Good buddy lived in Chattanooga and his sister was at Vandy so we'd go to Nashville to party and hang with her sorority friends.

Regarding Yuengling, I don't care for it so much. I'd have to try them next to each other to be sure, but I might prefer Budweiser.

Broadway is a fucking shit hole. There are nicer areas though that you don't get as many bums...

It has gotten worse with the number of tourists, but I remember traveling here for work back in 2007 when I lived in Raleigh. Leaving my client's office building (the batman building) late at night and enter the parking deck staircase to see a bum taking a shit there. I went around and waited for the elevator.

our JV field had a grass infield, but no fence. Hit what would be a dinger to left and you better run or you're only getting to 3rd.

The JV softball field was up a hill and out in right center from the JV baseball field. Kid I played with who wound up playing ball at Siena hit one out there while a game was going on. The CF from the other team is yelling "Stop the game!!" as he ran out after the ball, according to the girls on the field there.

You waiting until after the Academy nominates his documentary to watch it?
Yeah, I'll definitely save that one until the shortlist comes out... got a bit bust the last few weeks, so I was 5 short from completing this year, one International Film, one Documentary (though it's airing on PBS tonight), and 3 shorts.
