Messi to MLS

Figured they would eventually. Good! Get to see a legend on his farewell tour.
Only way I'd buy a ticket to see Messi in MLS is last second. He will rest some games this year with Champions League, COPA America and now two Argentina friendlies in March in Philadelphia and then Los Angeles. Might make a run at the Los Angeles one but my schedule tight in March. Only other chance is San Jose if he plays there. Don't know the MLS schedule. Of course there is still Copa America. Maybe games in Santa Clara. I do already know USA will play 1st knockout game in Santa Clara if they survive the group stage of Copa. Might partake in that.

Ticket prices have cooled a lot. Im watching a game I’ll be in Miami for and tickets are getting close to what I would pay.
Tickets have gone up 60% since this post

Oops I meant World Cup for USA here in Santa Clara.

How'd that work out? Seriously I am laughing. Been an Earthquakes fan since 1974 back in NASL days. MLS becoming MLB. All the big designated players go to Miami or LA. Look at the Miami roster and LA teams with Giroux, Zlatan, Bale, etc. How come no one will go to San Jose, or Charlotte, or Salt Lake City, or Austin, etc etc etc. Built this fake team in Miami and it failed. MLS just took a huge beat down on marketing. How about Apple TV today? LMAO!! At least Miami made the club World Cup next summer and the potentially final (never ever will it happen) with Miami vs Real Madrid in South Beach. Next season is Messi's last. A lot of tired old legs there too. Alba whining the playoff format. Aint a one and done or aggregate in 2 games like UCL. You know that going in when you took the money. You had 3 chances, not two 2 like Europe. More opportunities against Atlanta. IMO I think it over for Miami. Suarez, Alba, Busquets, Messi, hell maybe Neymar next year...older than the 1973 Redskins. Big stars but they signed, but guess what. Soccer teams build from the back. You start with defense and goaltending. If you don't have that, you are doomed. 49 goals allowed. Those stars were probably not tracking back a lot. Same next year too. No money for that. It was a risk, but the promiseland won't be reached. You are the Brooklyn Nets, LA Clippers, Phoenix Suns. Super teams that failed.

MLS will rewrite the rules this summer so Miami can get Neymar
Starting next summer, I am going to be doing a lot travelling. Following Bayern Munich arount the country next summer and Germany the following summer.
