Second half slumps and surges are common. I’d predict Harris over Strider because Harris has two fewer months with the big league club and isn’t far behind Strider in WAR and even if the offense slows down, his elite defense and baserunning will still provide value

I'd predict Harris over Strider, because of the innings limit that Strider is likely to face at some point this season.

If starting the season in the pen didn’t give enough room to finish the season without worrying about innings, he either needs to start eating steak or we need to trade him now at peak value

Innings is one thing but pitch count is where it's at. Lots of Ks and BBs looks like a lot of deep counts.

They could use a catcher and DH, but six of their regulars have an OPS+ above 110. Not a lot of power in that lineup outside of Alonso, but they're good at getting on base. Vientos or Baty could get called up soon
 
At least Woodruff seems to be getting back into form. Brewers rotation outside of him and Burnes isn't looking great right now. I do think Ashby will be a stud in the future
 
I just hate what the Rangers are doing. Staying 2 games below .500, trying to give fans hope we might be a wildcard team this year, likely making us non-sellers at the deadline...and then getting swept by the damn orioles.

I think Rangers fans should be pleased. Didn’t this team lose over 100 games last year? I don’t think anyone expected them to be a real playoff contender this year, but they’ve made a big step in the right direction and should be contending next season, and the Orioles aren’t the pushover they’ve been the last few years this year
