Actually if you look at the picture I posted, Jake Reed is in there, i'll take Moss, Carter, Reed before Monk, Clark, Sanders all day! Might be the homer in me though...

Well, there's an argument that the duo is actually Rice and Owens. Throw in that Stokes in 1998 was a pretty solid #3 for playing with 2 future HoFers.

1998

Moss/Carter/Reed
Rice/Owens/Stokes

(Targets - Catches - Yards - Tds)
317 - 181 - 2798 - 33
348 - 212 - 3024 - 31

Either way, both solid receiving corps.

Interesting side note - SF/Min were a combined 29-7 that year with 3 of the losses coming against Atlanta.

Further proof Barry Sanders didn't play on shit teams.

Point is, Walter Payton played on far worse teams, at least until the very end of his career. During their primes Barry was on much better teams and absolutely much better offenses.

yeah but they didn't have a cool nickname...advantage...POSSE! haha...I'm def taking Moss and Carter by themselves over any entire receiving core in the history of footy

Last night at taekwondo class, our master's master was visiting from Korea. Back when Justus was just starting, Grand Master Moon (Olympic Gold winner in 2004) told Justus he kicked hard and if he trained he could go to the Olympics (which has been a goal of his ever since). So, back to last night, I'm holding a shield pad and Justus is kicking it. I'm 6'0", 280 pounds and I'm anchored as best as I can and Justus (5'7" 120 soaking wet) is kicking so hard its knocking me back. Master Moon was gushing over the speed and power of his kicks and was even more impressed when Master Oh told him who Justus was.

A couple weeks ago Justus came home with a story that a kid thought it funny to stomp on his broken foot so Justus kicked him as hard as he could. I, not having been on the receiving end of a Justus kick in 4 years, thought Justus may have been exaggerating when he said that the kid started sobbing and couldn't stop. I just figured he was embellishing, but after getting knocked back a few times last night I'm starting to think he wasn't embellishing all that much.
