More Michigan Cheating

Oh, so Michigan can just say they got the signs from anyone other than Stallions and we can move along. That clears it all up, since having the signs doesn't go against the integrity of the game.

I just saw on Twitter -- Stallions spy network was actually videotaping the cheerleaders at those games. We got our signs from an unnamed source on another team. So it was all perfectly legal..
I guess MI should have thought of that first.

So what statements on social media should be we take as fact? Clear that up and then we can continue the conversation. Not sure if you know this, but the ONLY PEOPLE who have the facts on this case are UM and the NCAA. Guess who cannot comment on an active investigation? UM and the NCAA.

What you end up with is -- dozen of "insiders" posting from "unnamed sources" to get clicks and draw attention to themselves. It is why Urban Meyer even said -- he wasn't going to pass judgement until the facts come out, as he got to see firsthand what social media can do to a story.

So cherry picking what you want to believe and not believe doesn't make it true. Until the NCAA speaks out on it or UM does -- it is all a guess what is fact and what is made up.
Stallions worked for Harbs. Stallions bought tickets and had people electronically record. Stallions then used that info in game to help make calls. All facts. No cherry picking. Guilty.

I guess MI should have thought of that first.
Breaking news from Twatter:

Michigan says they got the signs fair and square from previous team's opponent. B1G is now dropping their case.

Pass it on.

Haha no one is voluntarily helping Michigan. We know that's a lie.

VERDICT IS IN:

Harbaugh banned from the sideline for the regular season but he can coach all week.

So what happens to Penn State and Ohio State if they lose to MI without Harbaugh?

Well he wasn't involved in the sign stealing part, right? If that's the case, he's basically just been a court jester on the sidelines while the coordinators have all the signs...

I just heard the best comments on why signs had nothing to do with OSU/UM the last two years.

2021 - halftime score 14-13.
2022 - halftime score 20-17.

2021-2022 2nd half combined:
Michigan 56 Ohio State 17

That is half time adjustments being made by one team. That is back to back OL of the year in CFB wearing down a team in the 2nd half

That is Mike McDonald in 2021, who left and went to Baltimore, who now have.....one of the best defenses in the NFL.

So they hire one of his disciples - Jesse Minter. Guess how many points teams have score on the season in the 3rd quarter after half time adjustments this uear? Zero. That isn't zero the last game. That is zero on the season.

Coaching is the difference in the UM OSU games the last two years.

Plus it is on the internet, so it must be true😁

This will prob just motivate the players even more.

So a written signal and a picture signal changes everything?

Just so I am completely understanding your stance. Sending a list of another team's signals you played doesn't compromise the integrity of the game, but getting the signals on your own does?!?

In the end -- don't you end up with the exact same thing?
1. I have pointed out that if it is true that other teams have done what has been alleged, it's the only colorable defense you have.

2. But, it's not the defense you think it is - if they did what they did, and it is against the rules, they should be penalized.

3. If they did what they are alleged to have done and it's not against the rules, then the rules should be amended.

4. NONE of this in any way reduces your team's culpability for advanced scouting to obtain the signals of your future opponents which is clearly against the rules. Constantly raising that issue is a red herring, and is done to try and deflect the fact that your team had all the signals of all the teams they have played which created a competitive advantage.

OR

They always had the base packages of signs that teams used from advanced scouting and it took them the first half to figure out the small changes and which person was giving the real one.

Michigan is already at PSU. The NCAA isn't announcing anything, especially in relation to Harbaugh.

This is why social media is so ridiculous. You can post anything you want and you have morons running with it like it is the Bible.

My favorite part is how exciting the poster is about getting the breaking news
LOL ...

Word is Harbaugh was on the plane

lol. The big ten is about to waste a lot of money in court.

This isn't even that big of a punishment. It'd be silly for Michigan to even fight it

I agree

I find it more annoying that they waited until now when they're leaving for PSU rather than, say, mid-week to issue it.
