More Michigan Cheating

I like how he thinks "Ohio State only has 2 titles the last 50 years" is some major dig.

Not a ton of schools have multiple during this time and not everyone can be fucking Alabama under Saban.

Ohio State has been a legit competitor the vast majority of my conscious lifetime, Michigan fans can't say the same.

From 1997-2020 Michigan lost 4+ games 12 times. They only managed to lose under 3 games 3 times in that same period. That's a very mediocre 20+ year period for a supposed powerhouse.
We were not a high caliber football team ... simple. We were not even the best team last year (in my opinion) Georgia was.

What should I state that my university cheated when I have seen to evidence (you can't see what you are not looking at), all I know is the accusations I've seen in this thread. I am just saying if if I knew someone was cheating and how they were cheating, I would not sit by passively.

You were undefeated and we beat you. We were only a 3 point favorite at home which means your team was view as superior to ours. We beat you without cheating and we beat Alabama and Washington without cheating. WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!!! Feel free to take it from us, you will have your chance. NO EXCUSES!!!

I think anyone who actually watched Ohio State last year can tell that they weren't really superior at all to anyone of the other top teams.

Do you think you have the intelligence to combat Michigan’s alleged cheating?
It doesn't matter. I shouldn't have to. I have the intelligence to keep people from breaking into my house, but that doesn't mean I should not condemn thieves who try to do so.

This is the same victim blaming logic as the people who blame women for getting raped because of what they were wearing. "Well if she was dressed in baggy clothing completely hiding her figure nobody woulda touched her". OBVIOUSLY not close to the same thing but the same logic.

I am not going to equate signal decoding and in-person scouting with a felony. Sorry.

Definitely not going to equate signal decoding and in-person scouting with sexual assault. Also, we were allegedly decoding Michigan State's signs. That is the hypothetically equivalent of a homely girl dressed poorly.

I could do it with the same signs. Have 3 people send in the signs ... "Which one is giving the signs"?
Still not difficult to crack. You scout to know the plays, factor in the three variables to find it, and then within one play you know who is the signal caller for that series.

I wasn't equating the events in questions, I was equating the victim blaming logic.

Considering the amount of money, across state lines, that could have been impacted by the sign stealing this absolutely could be classified as a felony.

Will it? No. No law enforcement wants to pull at that ball of yarn.

If I am blaming the victim, it is for being passive. Seriously, I don't know if there was a victim to blame - I am taking your word for it.

Maybe y'all could get Jack Smith to prosecute ... he doesn't need evidence.

I'm a baseball coach, I'm well aware of how easy it is to find the hot signal, or indicator, and crack the other teams codes. I can tell you right now, before we even play them, what the steal sign is for every team on our schedule this season.

The difference is in baseball it is a lot easier to combat sign stealing because it is for the most part a 1v1 skill based game.

Ah, I see now. You still think Michigan didn't do anything wrong and no one can prove they did. Electronic devices were used and people are dumb about how to recover data from them, so I think they did do something wrong and I think the evidence does exist.

If the NOA really was a "nothing burger" like the Michigan fans are claiming, the University woulda leaked it and theyd be pushing to get all of this over with and be done with the bad press/public perception. They have no reason to go radio silent if things really were good for them. My guess is the NOA that was delivered was probably worse than they were expecting and there is currently a scramble behind the scenes to come up with damage control strategies before the NOA finally does get leaked into the media.

I am not even sure what you are implying. Thank God for in-helmet encrypted electronic communication.

On to another subject ... Week 2 - Texas @ Michigan - who do you want to see win?

Completely agree. if there isn't anything unexpected then you "oops, leaked it" and move on with life while planning on a slap on the wrist. There must be things in there none of us are even expecting for them to start taking shit serious, starting with telling Hairball to stay away.

Michigans sudden aversion to thumbing their nose at the NCAA should be telling.

I am not proclaiming Michigan's innocence, nor am I pointing at any other team. I am not willing to throw Michigan under the bus, for a case I will not investigate. All I know, I read here.

What I'm saying, not even implying, is this line of reason you are trying to make where "if you knew why didn't you stop us" is flawed at its very basis. Stopping it isn't something you can do by changing playbooks from week to week. So short of running to the NCAA and tattling, tOSU was powerless to stop it. To their credit, they didn't tattle to the NCAA. It appears that UM employing a pedophile is what exposed all of this.

That's a topic for another thread, yo.

So you are not willing to throw Michigan under the bus, but you are willing to throw tOSU under the bus for not preventing Michigan from doing 'whatever' they were doing?
