Why would I want to eliminate any history ... that is something corrupt politicians what to do.

Cheating? Only caring about the game of football when it actually became the game we know it as today? Your team is artificially built up as a "blue blood" because of all their wins and titles from when the game was basically rugby. Yeah, that's irrelevant.

If you're 68 (assuming you were born in 1956) -

OSU is 37-28-2 against michigan in your life time (michigan backed out in 2020)
OSU has won 7 national title in your life while michigan has 1.5 (with the one coming with a massive cheating scandal)

You see the difference is ... history doesn't start with me. History is what it is? Am I suppose pretend that my ancestors were never enslaved (and ask for reparations), and then pretend that 360,000 est people (mostly white) were killed so that I may be free (debt paid 360+ times over)?

TCU's opinion that Michigan was cheating and they combated against (what a concept).

Allow history to be history ... and you are not the arbitrator.

Translation: I need everyone to acknowledge all of those titles we had before the forward pass was allowed so I can still call my program a blueblood even though our two biggest rivals actually have more national titles than my program does in my lifetime. Leather helmet days matter, damnit!

It’s not that complicated … it’s simple … history is history. You don’t get to decide when it starts. That is actually worse than cheating, it is similar to book burning 🔥. The difference is your probably alone in this, and the documentation is safe from you. Go on and bitch about Michigan cheating you are entitled, but erasing history is actually kinda sick. Stop being dramatic. Nobody is erasing anything. I'm saying it's irrelevant because the game doesn't even look the same anymore. Maybe if you guys were able to adapt and keep up over the last 75 years we wouldn't be able to have this conversation, but you haven't. Yet you still call yourselves a blueblood.

Nope. It's a message board full of opinions, and that's mine. Frankly, I'm far from the only one who considers those days irrelevant since they were well before what is considered the modern era of college football, so it's not a "pretend world". If you want to still hold tight to them as if they're relevant, that's your prerogative.
