Move B1G championship games to Vegas

That I'm defending the PAC teams is what's hilarious.

It just goes to show how overly exaggerated the November weather conditions across the Plains/Midwest actually are.

All these Big 10 fans are doing nothing but giving the PAC teams an excuse for potentially losing a game in Big 10 country.

"WeLL iT WaS tEh WeAtHeR" - Pac team

Watch these Big 10 honks come back with the argument "WeLL wE BoTh hAd To pLaY iN iT. BoTh tEaMs HaD tEh SaMe eLeMeNtS"

That's why It's a dumbass argument.
We’d never use that excuse, it’s always a good feeling when the weather’s shitty here for an Arizona team or USC/UCLA come to town, but it’s more of a fan thing, feeling like look at those stupid California kids having to play in this shit we live in. It really isn’t as much of a deal for the players. Like you said, it’s a factor for both teams, however much you want to claim it’s your thing, the players are used to and up for whatever. Living in an area with a lot of rain doesn’t make the ball magically less slippery for you, having more freezing days doesn’t make it sting less.

Sorry. 3 time zones sometimes as well

I don't think that weather is a huge factor, but it is a factor. Yes, both teams have to play in it. But a player who lives in it is better prepared. You can scheme for bad weather. Now all the factors added up may only amount to a point or two on average but there is a factor.

Bowl games outside the CFP are BS imo. Agents get involved right after thanksgiving and you don’t know who plays or even shows up

That said there is a reason they play bowl games in good weather locations in January

Yes there is.

It's for the fucking fans sitting in the bleachers.

you

Do you think fans wouldn’t travel to a cold bowl game?

Lol “it’s just for the fan experience”

Cmon y’all. Lol

Travel is a factor. College football is the one sport where the home team has a huge advantage. Yes these are kids. Sleep/rest is important

I’ve been betting Home dogs for years. It is
Probably the best bet in all of sports

Yeah 2 time zones shouldn’t be a big deal either

Oh the sensitivity of these Pac transitioners

FFS

The Big 10 teams are gonna have to travel to USC, UCLA, Oregon, and Washington, too.

Are those automatic losses because "Time Zones"?

Is that gonna be the excuse for losses?

Lol what?

Y’all are worked up. I asked if college football fans travel to a cold bowl game FFS

Who said anything about automatic losses?

I can see the B1G scheduling the West Coast teams to travel east earlier in the season and Midwest teams traveling to the coast later in the season, using say Week 10 as the dividing line.

Let’s keep it simple or try to..

1) the Midwest is cold and miserable at times
2) weather is a factor
3) travel is a factor especially long distances
4) this applies to everyone in the conference
5) did y’all skip your transitioning pills last night?

Don't be rude...

Oh. Nevermind.

Yeah. I can play that game too.

Shall we compare attendance of the Pinstripe (NY), Fenway (Boston), Military (Maryland), bowls to the attendance of Florida, Texas, California, Arizona, bowls?

Pinstripe: 31,000
Gator Bowl: 67,000

Bowl games are played in warmer climates for the damn fans.

I’d say cycle it between like; Vegas, MetLife Stadium, Ford Field, and Lucas Oil. Maybe throw Soldier Field in there if you can’t land MetLife.

Not like they do to warm weather climates.

The Big 10 fans have jumped from "It's too cold, rainy, snowy in Big 10 country for PAC teams" to "PAC teams will have to travel 2 or 3 time zones"

How did the 3 time zones work for Ohio St last time Oregon traveled there?

Oh it’s definitely about money and fans are a big part of that. But teams in those bowls play a big part of the attendance. Who plays in the Pinstripe and Military bowls? Minnesota and Syracuse? Lol cmon man

Revenge is a powerful thing. 2014-15 Natty beat down lol

Syracuse is just 250 miles away from the Pinstripe and can't fill the stadium.

Do you know why? Because they don't want to sit out in the December 28th cold.

Mind you the Big 10 regular season ends a month before that in fucking November.

I get where you're coming from, but I like the fact that a single "neutral" is used. The first goal of every season is to go to Indy.
