And I was always aware of him, but I never really checked Jimmy Martin out until I heard Hank 3’s line “and the king, Jimmy Martin if was still here, he’d tell em all to suck his dick”

Dude, if you are actively seeking out Ten to listen to, I don't know wtf to tell ya. For me, it doesn't hold up. Couldn't possibly give a fuck less if I ever heard it again. Pearl Jam is the absolute worst of the grunge scene imo. Sorry. Being on the radio is not an indication of anything other than the likelihood of actually sucking.

I enjoyed a Pearl Jam concert last year. Not going to feel guilty about it. Never really listened to them, but they were really good, and the tickets were free, so....

Who, King Buffalo? Lol.

We definitely have different tastes. I'd much rather go see King Buffalo at Pappy & Harriet's for $300. $25 of that for the ticket...the rest on booze and merch.

Or go see Pearl Jam in a sports stadium for prolly the same price just for tickets to hear music that was overplayed and worn out by 1994.

They're playing a couple shows with Acid Bath this year I think. Another band from the 90's I'd much rather hear and see.

Yeah! Weedeater is it.

I'm not a huge Pearl Jam fan and the only time I've seen them live was 1992 at Lallapalooza. I'm not sure that I'd take the time to see them if the tickets were free. Certainly wouldn't pay for it. That said, I think Ten is an absolute fucking burner of an album.
