Place is very empty.
Still kinda empty. I knew it wouldn’t be a sellout..Aren't they all, an hour before kick-off?

At the Myrtle Beach Bowl. Not beach temps for sure.View attachment 129744
1999 sugar bowl was my first.
Only non Ohio State bowl game I've ever gone to the 2007 Orange Bowl between Wake Forest and Louisville. Buddy and me were in South Beach for New Years so we decided to go.
On the 30th we are drinking at this bar called the Clevelander on the strip and I run into these giants while getting a drink. Sparked up a convo and they turn out to be 4 offensive lineman from Wake. We hit it off and then this Wake alum shows up and starts buying all their drinks. They tell him I'm their favorite trainer so he is buying them for me too. Everyone is trashed and I'm saying I want to get sideline passes. One dude is saying he is gonna get me a headset lol.
Never heard from them again but it was probably my coolest college football story and it had nothing to do with Ohio State
I had to crop it because Hooplanation said file was too large.why does this picture look like it was taken in 1998?

Thanks. Much appreciated.Do a screen shot of the original pic and it'll be under the limit to post.
Been there.
I saw Wake beat GT in the ACC CCG that year (2006) @ Jax to clinch the Orage Bowl bid!ha! i actually randomly saw Wake Forest play that year, at home vs Clemson (they lost)
lol the day that they played Clemson at home in Winston-Salem, me and some buddies just decided to go on a whim (this was back in my Army Fort Bragg Days), so we all piled in my truck and drove the 2 hours to see a game that we really couldn't have cared less about, we were just bored and didn't have much to do that day. After that game, we drove to Chapel Hill and partied all day and into the night there, and drove back to Bragg hung over the next day. Miss those days.I saw Wake beat GT in the ACC CCG that year (2006) @ Jax to clinch the Orage Bowl bid!
9-6 in the rain. What a thrill!
