Thanks for the props.... I wasn't sure how the game would work out with the way that OSU beat Clemson. Clemson's been a bit of a nemesis to the Tide here as of late.

The most explosive offense in CFB history? There was a team who had Joe Burrow, Justin Jefferson, Ja'Marr Chase, Clyde Edwards Hellaire last year. Pretty tough to argue against them.

Mac Jones, Devonta Smith, Jalen Waddle, and Najee Harris are all first round draft picks this year. Mac, Smith and Najee each won POTY awards at their position, with Smith winning the Heisman.

Alabama averaged more points and were just as, if not more explosive. LSU also didn't have to play all SEC teams which like it or not, DOES make a difference.

Not saying Alabama is for sure better, but they are certainly worth of being discussed as the GOAT.

Joe Burrow won the Heisman. Ja'Marr Chase was POTY at WR. Justin Jefferson just got done setting the NFL record for receiving yards as a rookie. Hell -- there #3 WR had 13 TD catches.
And Burrow, Jefferson and CEH were first round picks already and Chase will be this year.
So your talk about the best offense ever seen isn't remotely true, as LSU just did the exact same thing last year and played a much tougher schedule than Bama did.

Did you not look at the stats? Both teams have 4 first round caliber picks, and their is also an OL man that will be a 1st rounder as well.

To say it's not remotely true is just showing ignorance. The stats show something very different, more along the lines of what I am saying, is what Alabama did this year, and LSU last year, makes it a good argument for greatest offense of all time.

And for LSU playing a 'MUCH" tougher schedule...I'm not sure where you'll find Georgia Southern, Northwestern St. Utah State on this year's Alabama schedule for a team that didn't have a fall practice, and played an all SEC Schedule where they lowest points total during the regular season was 38 against Mizzou (also the first game of the season), whereas LSU had only 36 against Miss St, and 23 against Auburn.

If you set aside any bias you have to LSU, Joe Burrow, or any hatred towards Saban and this Bama team, you will see that it's hard to say it's clear one is about the other, but both are the greatest of all times and the stats back it up.

I don't have a bias for LSU or a hatred for Bama.
LSU played a much tougher schedule. As a matter of fact -- I think they had the toughest SOS in the country.
LSU was garbage this year, Auburn was garbage this year. You played Georgia before Daniels was the starter. The best team you faced in the regular season was A&M and personally I think Kellen Mond is garbage.
And the only reason I responded is -- your #1 bullet point was -- Bama had the most explosive offense CFB has ever seen -- I believe that was your words, when we literally just saw an offense just as explosive, if not more explosive last year.

You tried to justify it by saying they will have 4 first round picks, which is great, but LSU just had that. And while I think Harris is a beast in college -- I would wager he doesn't go in the first round though. He is a grinder. I think he will be the 1st back taken, but I'd bet it isn't until the 2nd round as he doesn't have the explosive runs.

But we are talking about defenses, and none of these teams had a defense that could really contain Alabama. ND did the best, but I think Sark just played it safe once we got about 20 as we knew ND wasn't going to come back.

Bama did average .5 more points than LSU, in a shorten season without spring practice, with no teams outside the SEC. I think that should definitely be taken into account, as LSU had all spring to get in rhythm, whereas Bama's spring practice was their game against Mizzou. No A-Day Game, no nothing, just straight to SEC matches.

Still they averaged more points than LSU did.

As for Najee, all the mock drafts I have seen have him in the first round, which makes sense seeing as how he might have some of the best hands a RB has in recent memory, and can run and block, but the position as a whole is on the decline, especially in the NFL so if he moved down to the 2nd, I wouldn't be shocked, but all the 'experts' appear as if they would be.

I didn't saying anything about them not being close to comparable. I only brought up LSU because YOU made the statement Bama was the most explosive offense CFB has ever seen. I simply stated we saw the exact same type of offense last year, but with a better QB and LSU had to play a tougher schedule.

It honestly doesn't matter. Their program has been garbage since Urban left and it hurts their feels. The fact they think osu would struggle with UK, Vandy, SCAR, Tennessee, Missouri, fsu and whatever other three scrubs they play in Florida OOC is hilarious. Florida gets two exceptional opponents a year at most and three when they happen to make a CCG. And that's if out of the other games they catch Bama or one of hot sec west teams. Because they only get two games against the west.
 
Sucks this game had to be postponed from the 11th. Who's ready to watch these two teams on the 18th?
