To be clear, she's not married to an illegal. He came over on a student visa and swam for Kentucky. They married her junior year, which made him eligible for a green card. He wasn't able to get a green card because under Biden, you had to prove you took a COVID shot, and he refused to do so. That requirement has been waived by this administration, so he will get a green card and then get citizenship. At no time was he here illegally.

FWIW, I know a lot about this because Riley is BFF with my son's girlfriend, soon-to-be fiance. They grew up together near Nashville.

Yeah this was a very pathetic, disingenuous attempt at a "gotcha" by anyone who tried to compare him to an illegal immigrant.

changing the criteria of first athletes and young athletes to Olympians and more and more criteria to make the argument is moving the goal posts.

saying its inappropriate for drag queens to read to kids and comparing it to priests who have a long history of inappropriate behavior with kids is not.

like legit question because i dont know how this part works but if he doesnt get his green card through marriage and he is no longer a student (i dont know if he is or isnt) but would that make him illegal or is there some other stipulation because of the marriage?

Fair question. My guess is that you are considered in some type of limbo during the green card application process and the appeals. Riley was very open and public about the situation, so I doubt he was "illegal." Had the appeal process run its course to the point where he wasn't going to get it then he might have had a problem.

Those two things aren't remotely comparable. The entire history of drag shows is raunchy, sex-based, adult humor that kids have no business being around. The Catholic church has had issues with priests, but find all of the cases you can ever find and it will make up a microscopic fraction of a microscopic fraction of the total number of priests that have ever existed. This is just yet another disingenuous argument.

correct but drag queens reading to kids is not a drag show.
drag queens grooming kids is a made up scare tactic. priests, even a small fraction, preying on kids is fact

This is always the question that is never answered. What positive is there for kids? It's literally no different than having a stripper or pornstar come in and read to kids. There's no purpose other than pushing an agenda.
