If Illinois has any positive on their team, it is causing turnover, at least in the last few years. Good enough run game to shorten the game and have a few nail biters every year. Nebraska seems snakebit. The pieces are there but need to play 60 minutes.

Driving qb into ground will get you most of time. Wasn't initial hit, it was lifting him and driving him into turn.

Player should've been smarter.

Yeah, I saw it. I am more old school football. He was in full speed motion at the time, it wasn't late and he finished the tackle. That's everyone is always told, to finish the tackle... or at least the used to be. You call that, ok, whatever.... to me, no that's a "chicken shit call".

I am a little heated and may not realize how this is coming across, but I mean no disrespect to you. I just don't agree with that call.

If you disagree with the rule, fine, but that'll get called most every time. Two refs right there threw flag

Db didn't need finish tackle. Ball was gone.

And that's not how football used to be. I mean, how many of us on here played football and how many of us were told to 'wrap up and finish the tackle'. Of course, I disagree with most targeting calls as well.

Pussifying the sport on full display right there.
