Sports columnist here said that if Martinez comes back next year (please god no) that he could finish top 10 all time in NCAA history in total yards. And he's won all of 14 games in 4 years.

the fan base will REVOLT is 2AM is starting next year. It won't be pretty.

I mean. I think the chance of him being drafted by the XFL are slim to none so if he doens't have a insurance job lined up...he might be back on scholly to back up Logan.

If he's playing college football next year I don't think it will be in a Husker uniform. I could see him transferring somewhere and playing, but I think even he realizes that he can't do much more in Lincoln.

Of course watch Martinez transfer to Tennessee or something and have a ridiculously good season.

Uh... no. Of course I am not the best person to talk about this right now. As of the moment, I am Fickell or bust. Plus Frost isn't even fired yet. Who knows, Alberts may give him another year just to bring the buyout down at little more.

My feelings may change/open up more to other coaches as time moves on.

Saturday night and Sunday I didn't care if they fired Frost after this season. Now that I have cooled off and sobered up I still don't think I want Frost fired. I want to see how he does with some new staff and a quarterback not named Martinez. But by the looks of it, they may have to go find a QB in the portal for next year. Plus I am sick of all the turnover over the last 20 years and just want some continuity.

I hear ya, I just can't put up with it any more. Not acting now (meaning by Jan) says that this shit is ok. If you say it's ok, then we are giving up all the history and tradition and none of it matters. Not that any of it matters in life, but in the CFB world, Nebraska is supposed to matter.

My big thing I keep coming back to is 'if it were any other name other than Frost (i.e. a Nebraska guy) would I still want them around?' and the answer is undoubtedly and unequivocally "No!".

Michigan had to fire Hoke and there are rumblings of firing Harbaugh (which is funny), it isn't like we would be the first to fire an alum.
