Nebraska Is Going To Be The Turd In Iowa's Punchbowl.

I hear ya, I just can't put up with it any more. Not acting now (meaning by Jan) says that this shit is ok. If you say it's ok, then we are giving up all the history and tradition and none of it matters. Not that any of it matters in life, but in the CFB world, Nebraska is supposed to matter.

My big thing I keep coming back to is 'if it were any other name other than Frost (i.e. a Nebraska guy) would I still want them around?' and the answer is undoubtedly and unequivocally "No!".

Michigan had to fire Hoke and there are rumblings of firing Harbaugh (which is funny), it isn't like we would be the first to fire an alum.

I agree. Frost has a few things going for him for the reason he is still employed:

1) A Nebraska Alumni
2) Winning a National title in '97
3) The undefeated season at UCF in 2017

If you take away the 13-0 season at UCF, Frost's coaching record is 21-33.

Hell even with the undefeated season his overall record is sub .500 at 34-33. Even Mike Riley was better. But the undefeated season made people gloss over the other turds. I think the shine of that season has worn off.

Chin up, little buddy. Y'all know how to play football. Now, you just need to learn how to win. Baby steps. Even Barry A. wasn't perfect
Part of the problem is that they don't know football. The football IQ is not good and the mentality of the team is weak. Anything good, I'm convinced, is just a talent showcase.

Remember Cam Taylor-Brit, a captain, fielding a punt inside the 5 yard line, running backwards then throwing it out of bounds causing a safety.... like what the fuck? You watch throughout the season and there a bunch of IQ errors like that littered throughout.

But yes, I do believe the mentality of the team is probably more important. Just remember watching the Purdue game, and it looked like the defense just gave up in the end. I know Martinez did them no favors by putting them right back out there with 4 INTs, but still. Need more passion.

A month ago after the close losses to Oklahoma and Michigan State and the win against Northwestern, everybody could see the progress the team had made and nobody was really calling for Frost's job. A short month later and I'd say at least half the state wants him gone.

Things change quickly.

Ummm 34-33 is above .500

I just see a lot of early Alvarez's at Wisconsin in what Nebraska is going through. Barry's 1st 3 years extended wisky's streak of sub-.500 teams to 10, I believe, The last year they had 4 1-possession losses in a 5-6 season. Lightning will strike again. Book it.

One other option, start cheating. It worked so many years for so many teams.

You and I have different definitions of sub .500.

If Purdue and Wisco can beat the former #2 team in CFB :dhd: :dhd: :dhd: then yall have a chance.

Hope in one hand and shit in the other and tell me which one fills up first.

Not without reason.
