New Pac

I wonder if we'll get any #afterdark games on CBS? There's a market there, and would obviously pull it a pretty nice rating on CBS. Fox did like 1 or 2 a year in the old P12. And did a couple last year IIRC
Yes, that’s the only real reason we are going to get major partners like CBS and either ESPN or WBD cause the late Saturday starts and schedule flexibility. Plus it’s a no lose situation for CBS cause if they don’t make the money they think they would off the football and basketball games they’ll make it up if we produce their March Madness games.

With only getting 3 games per year, I do wonder. I can see them wanting to have the B1G game as a lead in to a 7:30/8:00 kickoff. I was looking at future schedules and this and this was an example of it:

Notre Dame at Michigan State - 3:30 | CBS on 9/18/2027
Washington at Washington State - 7:30 | CBS on 9/18/2027

I'm assuming they are going to put some of these bigger OOC games on CBS, but don't think they'll want to put them on at 10:30 ET. For example for 2027 if you assume CBS will air Missouri/SDSU and UW/Wazzu that leaves just one game left. I do think we'll see a lot of games on CBSSN #afterdark.

I am interested to see the other media partners.

3 at a minimum is the starting point that doesn’t mean it won’t grow from that. When the Apple Cup is on Pullman is will be on CBS but so will the Boise State/Wazzu game or the Boise/OSU game.

3 to start is totally fine cause they haven’t announced the other partners which for sure CW is one, and ESPN or WBD will be the other. The number 1 goal from the start is having national exposure over money. The PAC 12 Network doomed the original conference and that was cause they chased money over exposure

but its like the same smoke but maybe slightly bigger plumes

i mean all the rumored partners will have exposure. CW and ESPN are the others with a possible 4th
From what I hear it’s only 3. It’s CW and CBS, with either ESPN or Turner Sports. It could possibly be ESPN for football and Turner for basketball, but Turner Sports would be my preference

Looks like Texas State to the P12 is a done deal. Announcement expected today at some point.
