Series Thread NLCS- Braves vs Dodgers

lol, yup

i've even forgotten about some of the prospects that have crashed

remember Luiz Gahara?
Is he even around anymore?

But Lucas Sims, Matt Wisler, Kolby Allard(though I think he would have been a stud if he didn’t get hurt), etc

the Braves time in Milwaukee turned them from being Boston losers to a respectable franchise

baby hat GIF
Braves won a World Series in Boston.

i'm ready to declare Touki as a bust, too.

tbh, if Wright ends up being good, i'll take it. Soroka, Anderson, Fried and a good Wright is pretty damn great

(Gulp!)

Braves Reddit says Wilson is the starter for game 4.

Touki has regressed big time. He looked pretty good in 2018, but has gotten way worse since then

something about a blind squirrel applies there

they were in Boston for 81 years and spent most of their time there as a bottom feeder. there's a reason why the Red Sox were able to overtake them in popularity despite the Braves being established 30 years prior to their AL counterpart

In 1914. They also won a bunch of championships before the World Series was a thing in the 1800’s
it's pretty wild how we don't count pre-World Series titles + pre-Super Bowl NFL titles

i kinda get it with pre-World Series, b/c who honestly cares about titles won in the 1800s

but the NFL thing I don't understand. Super Bowl was created in 1970, so in the grand scheme of things it's still relatively new

I still think there’s something to say about giving him and Wilson more time. Just look at Wright. Some guys things will click. They’re both still so young. Maybe neither turn into anything worthwhile. But they have to be given a shot.

Wilson has a shot to become a legend tomorrow. I like him more than Touki or Ynoa

I think Ynoa has better stuff. Dodgers, I'm afraid, will destroy Wilson because all he is is a fastball pitcher. Gotta win game 3!
Even when Ynoa is on, he can't throw strikes. At least when Wilson is on, he gives you a legit chance. Stuff doesn't mean shit if you don't know how to use it.

Congrats @Illustrious Potentate Nick Saban just tested positive for Covid. Y’all will easily win Saturday in a game I was already iffy about
