Series Thread NLCS- Braves vs Dodgers

He may be the best catcher in baseball, but I don't think I'd pay what he's going to ask for. Then again my team signs broken pitchers
I mean, it's not like he's trying to get a Bryce Harper contract. Anyone getting a 4+ year deal is going to be a risk, but you take that risk with the greats, IMO.

Agreed but in a contract year do you feel he earned it? And catchers never age well

It's worth a gamble for sure, but while he might be the best catcher in the game right now, the competition at catcher isn't what it used to be.

By the way, y'all be gentle on us Saturday. But if y'all score enough to get Golding fired I'll be fine
If UGA wins, it'll be the toughest win we've ever had.

I think we have a damn good team, but it's gonna be tough.

He earned it last year.

Hard to say this year. They got fucked by the goddamn Marlins getting COVID at the beginning of the season, and played so damn many double-headers that they lost some of what JT gave them. And he tried playing through some dings at the end of the year.

He's also a good enough hitter and ballplayer that he's an insurance policy in case Rhys Hoskins never gets his swing back, if the Phillies keep JT.

Definitely worth the risk if the DH stays in the NL, which I think it has to now. This year is so strange anyway but the one good thing, IMO, is that maybe 2020 finally brings the DH to the NL

Don't suck his dick too much, he didn't get the out.

It'll definitely be here in 2022, but I don't think you can have it one year, take it away the next and then go back to it full time the year after.

God damnit, Pablo, you get on, and Urias gets pulled. Now the woman beater will get credit for the W.

Great play, but is it worth risking an injury laying out in a 15-1 game?

South Park's prime is still going strong.

South Park is the greatest show of all time
South Park dropped off a number of years ago. It used to be must see. Right now it is more of a watch it when you have time show. Second best animated show ever isn't anything to be ashamed of.

We need to make Jansen work here, because if he has an easy inning I feel like it'll come back to bite us later in the series

No shame in second, but South is first among all shows, not just animated. Archer, King of the Hill, Bojack Horseman and a number of Adult Swim originals that rank ahead of the Simpsons.
