Series Thread NLDS- Braves vs Marlins

I'd bet the Marlins hitters get hit frequently next year
Their leadoff hitter should definitely wear one in the 1st inning of the 1st game of several series next season.
Today is still a must win. We have to win with Froed and Anderson on the mound even if it means winning ugly like yesterday. Win today, and then win a slugfest in one of the next 3
Agreed.

Lol at fucking Mattingly. Trying to deflect everything that has happened with Ronald but saying his slide into second was dirty. GTFOH with that BS

I’ve all respect for that man since he came to the Marlins.

Almost game time......let's go, Braves!!!!

Grilled cheese with roast beef for dinner......can't wait.

Normally I would say this seems like a spot where the Marlins sneak into the playoffs, go on a run and win the world series then sell off everyone after it's over. But they really don't have anyone left to sell off. I can't imagine their 6 remaining fans saying "unbelievable! We finally put together something special then ownership decides to give away Brian Anderson and Jon Berti!"

They might go on a run, but this team doesn’t have near the pieces the 97 and 03 teams did. They have some good starting pitchers, but they’re young and under team control for a while, so they’d be fools to move them, and nobody in their lineup is gonna get more than a mid level prospect in return

THROW STRIKES!!

Higher pitch count than wanted but still a solid start. Got pinched on the first three hitters a bit

Ian Anderson usually has that one inning where he struggles a bit and then settles down. It was the second inning against the Reds. Hopefully that’s the case again today

yeah that's what I'm saying. This team doesn't really fit that mold. With those other teams they also got aggressive at the trade deadline adding a bunch of veterans too like Kevin Brown, Darren Daulton and some others.

They go straight changeups to Acuna and make him look foolish

Freddie has the walk off in game one against the Reds, but it’s about time he starts getting a few hits and cut down on the groundouts

Ian has held it together surprisingly well for a guy who was left with nothing but a cheque and a broken down pickup truck

I hope he pimped it. Once again, following on Gamecast

Fucking crushed
