I was doing business with a company in OKC and drove there four times. I like OKC but daaaaaamn those roads were absolutely atrocious when I was there. Have they done anything to improve them yet? It's coming.
OKC is the 2nd fastest growing city behind Nashville. The tallest building in North America(5th tallest in the world) is about to be built downtown. Boathouse district off of bricktown has Okana going in which is bigger than great wolf lodge. And they are still talking about the amusment park in Claremore($2 Billion and 1000 acres) that is bigger than Disney World.

The difference is staggering when traveling there from Texas. In Texas, the roads are beautiful, smooth and well-maintained. The minute you cross the Red River, it’s like you’re riding in a Conestoga Wagon which is likely why your mascot was selected.Oklahoma experiences great temp deviation…from 100+ to -0 in a years time. The lack of funding for the upkeep would need to be in another part of the forum.![]()

They've been that way for as long as I can remember. True story. Driving to Yukon to see my cousins one year. We got into construction and it got down to one lane for nearly 8 miles. On the way back we measured it. They closed 8 miles of highway down to one lane while they were working on only 2/10 of a mile of highway!I was doing business with a company in OKC and drove there four times.
