Norman, OK travel destination

“Them faggots down there in Norman got a kinky streak
Ain’t allowed to roll their own, their Sooner wrists are too weak
But they’ll sure start to puffin’ if you stick one in their beak
Them faggots down in Norman got a kinky streak

Them boys from Oklahoma roll their joints all wrong
They’re too damn skinny, way too long
Well I ain’t no holy roller so I just use a bong
Them boys from Oklahoma roll their joints all wrong”

It's coming.

OKC is the 2nd fastest growing city behind Nashville. The tallest building in North America(5th tallest in the world) is about to be built downtown. Boathouse district off of bricktown has Okana going in which is bigger than great wolf lodge. And they are still talking about the amusment park in Claremore($2 Billion and 1000 acres) that is bigger than Disney World.

I was doing business with a company in OKC and drove there four times. I like OKC but daaaaaamn those roads were absolutely atrocious when I was there. Have they done anything to improve them yet?

Oklahoma experiences great temp deviation…from 100+ to -0 in a years time. That coupled with the shit they put on the roads equals shitty roads.

The lack of funding for the upkeep would need to be in another part of the forum. ;)

Ohhhhh, gaming!

They should just put slot machines at all the entrances to the state. If you don't hit 3 cherries, you can't come in.
They kinda do. Choctaw is just a few miles into Oklahoma if you come from 75 and WinStar is pretty close if you come from 35.

The difference is staggering when traveling there from Texas. In Texas, the roads are beautiful, smooth and well-maintained. The minute you cross the Red River, it’s like you’re riding in a Conestoga Wagon which is likely why your mascot was selected.

But a hundred times less traffic.
The Cost of Freedom

Just remember to bring your Tribal Card.
You can get in and out of Oklahoma faster, which is what we all want.

They've been that way for as long as I can remember. True story. Driving to Yukon to see my cousins one year. We got into construction and it got down to one lane for nearly 8 miles. On the way back we measured it. They closed 8 miles of highway down to one lane while they were working on only 2/10 of a mile of highway!
