Again with the namedropping...Did you guys know Shawn Bradley is paralyzed?
Imagine being 7'6 and having to spend all day in a wheelchair.

I think one of the tallest guys I stood next to was Chris Mihm. It was before a Cavs game, when they were really shit, and I got a bunch of the guys autographs. It was like Tractor Traylor, Chris Mihm, Trajan Langdon... a bunch of slapdicks basically but still a good experience. I was around the same age 11-12.I once got an autograph when I was maybe 13-14 from Arvydas Sabonis. Actually got the whole Blazers teams autograph at the time. My friends dad had a plug at a local college where the Blazers were practicing before playing the Warriors.
Standing next to him it was like standing next to a giant. Tallest person I've ever stood next to in my life.
On a side note my friend came unprepared and just had index cards instead of playing cards for autographs. He went up to another Blazer player (name redacted) said "Nah, I don't sign paper...." and just walked away. LOL.
I've never understood autographs...
Well, they're usually written quickly and sloppily, so it's not surprising it's hard to read them.
It's more about meeting your favorite player then showing all your friends you got their autograph. Just a cool experience. Put that autograph on the right piece and it can be worth a lot.No... I mean why would someone want someone's signature, that seems weird to me... But that was funny Ben, lolzzz

I only did it a couple times. Only planned it once. The time at the Cavs game was just lucky, got there early and the players were right there signing.Lame, I met a lot of famous athletes, well maybe not a lot but I never once asked them to sign anything, i'm a weird fucker I guess. I am more about enjoying the moment than enjoying the memory.
I've met a lot of athletes also and I actually haven't gotten any autographs from players other than the Blazers and a ball I got signed at a Warriors basketball camp when I was a kid. Actually come to think of it, the Warriors basketball was signed by Nate Thurmond and Chris Mullin. I better go check if I have that.Lame, I met a lot of famous athletes, well maybe not a lot but I never once asked them to sign anything, i'm a weird fucker I guess.
