Official Fuck The Dodgers thread

On the plus side, their rotation should be better with Spewler on the DL

I’d say the Astros have been more successful. Dodgers haven’t won a non Mickey Mouse WS since 88

The Last 3 years the Braves have been the most successful NL team:

Division Titles:
Braves 3
Dodgers 2

LCS appearances:
Braves 2
Dodgers 2

World Series Championships:

Braves 1
Dodgers 1*

Too bad the Brewers traded Hader and didn't acquire any more hitters at the trade deadline. Getting two sore armed pitchers and a couple low level minor league players isn't a recipe for success.

Since he was traded…

3 G, 2.2 IP, 3 ER, 0 Sv, 4/3 K/BB, 1.875 WHIP

SSS, sure, but he was stinking up the joint before the trade as well. Did Mil know something?

What they did know is that he was nearing the end of his contract and knew that they wouldn't be able to sign him to another long term deal so why not get something for him while they could.

For a team in the thick of it to sell an apparent major bully piece at the deadline sends up lots of red flags.

I think he’s gonna be pretty affordable. Dude has sucked hind tit this year

That was the initial knee jerk reaction but I have learned to trust David Stearns.
Right…

Which means he probably knew something. Is Hader hurt? Is he headcase? Is his arm just dead now?

He knew something that said even though the Crew are in the hunt, trading him made sense.

He had a bad July but his trade value was still high.
