Official Fuck The Dodgers thread

That was the initial knee jerk reaction but I have learned to trust David Stearns.
Stearns has made some good acquisitions for the Brewers but that trade wasn't a good one and the fans know it.

What they did know is that he was nearing the end of his contract and knew that they wouldn't be able to sign him to another long term deal so why not get something for him while they could.
They didn't get very much in return.

They got a very nice reliever in Rogers and their current 8 and 9 prospects (Gasser, Ruiz). I don’t understand the Lamet situation, though. I assume they took him as salary relief, but he was claimed, so he must have had SOME value. Or were the Pads just scared he would clear waivers and the Crew lucked out by getting his contract picked up by the Rox?

Rogers was terrible in relief against the Cardinals last night. He blew the game.

Right…

Which means he probably knew something. Is Hader hurt? Is he headcase? Is his arm just dead now?

He knew something that said even though the Crew are in the hunt, trading him made sense.

His wife had a difficult pregnancy and he missed a couple of games while on "family" leave. Ever since that time, it seemed that his entire game is off. Probably more of a mental issue than anything else.

Paternity leave is killing baseball. You know how many games Chipper missed when he knocked up that Hooters waitress? Zero

Really?

How the hell would you know that?
Judged by Stearns needing to explain the trade to fans after the Brewers were bombarded with lots of angry calls. The owner even chimed in saying they didn't do this for salary purposes.

Yeah, he blew the game yesterday but kept them in the game the night before.

Such is the life of a reliever.
Hader had 27 straight saves before he blew one.

A few were pissed off, most if not all, were surprised. Nothing wrong at all with the HO making explanations to the public.

When was the last time Stearns and the owner needed to explain a transaction?

True that. It's not what you did in the past but what you are doing right now. Check out the stats of his last 10 outings.
No doubt he has struggled in the past month.

Lol. Suck it bitches

Good to see ill fall on the doggies, but I will never cheer for an injury. Especially to top end players. That is bad for the game as a whole.
