Think about how absolutely ridiculous that sounds. I will give you a little hint -- the "woke crowd" isn't a target demographic for college football and they'd lose a HELL OF A LOT MORE MONEY cancelling a season than they would gain from the "woke crowd" you speak of.

But if it makes you feel better to believe what you wrote -- feel free. I can't stop laughing though. I can see it now -- the woke snowflake who doesn't care one bit about sports in general, all of a sudden will now be a B1G football fan, because they put player safety first?!? Yup, LOS play has always been the difference. There are a lot of fast skill players - the B12 has been loaded with them for years. But getting the huge athletic OL and DL is harder as there are fewer and most all from the south.

As an example, watch who makes the tackle in this play and then go back and watch where he was when the ball was caught. That is a 6'5", 275 pound DL who caught that guy from behind.




One of my favorites ... this is Jordan Davis running down the UAB QB, 10 yards down field, on the sideline from the far hash. He's 6'6", 340.

I've read ALOT of ignorance online, but you may have won the internet today. A conference and schools will lose 100's of millions of dollars in revenue cancelling their biggest cash cow, which by the way, supports their athletic departments and many of the obscure sport programs, so they can attract a group who has zero interest in sports, but now they will. :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

It is more about DL than OL but that's just my opinion. Or at least the difference in the quality of DL seems a lot greater than the OL.

Yes -- the entire nation was shut down, unemployment reached record highs, but the B1G cancelled football to attract 'woke people' as fans. All it would cost them is 100's of millions of dollars in revenue.

Yeah -- the woke crowd is an extremely valuable subset of the population all conferences are fighting over. Once you get over the fact they h ave absolutely no interest in sports -- they are a cash cow.:dhd:
 
The B1G definitely caved. Moreso to peer pressure than to the woke mob, but caving is caving.
 
And I really don't see what's so great about the late Fall/Winter weather up north.
