Oklahoma poised to become South Carolina West

Oklahoma will go to occasional playoffs, but yeah they aren't winning any seccgs.
 
All this stupid talk right after a nothing program like Kentucky should have beat Georgia last night. Parity is here people.

Not that important really but......we also have a home in Lake Oswego, Oregon. Beautiful place. And I have business interests in Kentucky, South Carolina, Arkansas, Alabama and Texas, plus Oklahoma. So, I have to travel a bit and get to mix with a lot of different locals. The absolute stupidest football "fans" are in Oregon. Trying to discuss schemes, sets, etc. with them is like speaking Mandarin to a Yellow Lab. Oregon's one of the most beautiful places on Earth. But Portland's been ruined and the state's a mess politically. I expect it to never recover. They were desperate and jumped to the Big 10 for 50 cents on the dollar. That should tell you something. The Fighting Antifa's will win some games but they will play hell ruling their new conference. Tougher competition. And Oklahoma will be fine without winning as many conference championships in a much tougher SEC. All that counts today is the Playoff. And eventually that will be expanded. Nothing's better; it's just different. And you can start in Oregon with proving that statement.

It’s funny that the only stability Oklahoma knows is in being with Texas. Face it, aTm (all by themselves) was being courted by the SEC since 1991, Missouri (alone) tried to get in the B1G a few times, Colorado again by themselves, flirted with the PAC12 and later jumped conference, Texas talked of leaving the BigXII and at one point looked at the B1G, and Nebraska (alone) went B1G. I just don’t get why Oklahoma has tethered itself so firmly to Texas?

but teams with a history are in better shape as long as they have the money, that’s what it comes down to. The point is people saying OU is done are being stupid, if Kentucky can hang with Georgia I mean my gosh.
